Along with a well-stocked first aid kit, this is a must-have for a car emergency kit. The shovel is well made. When folded out it feels sturdy and strong. It's very similar to the one it replaces, which I have had for ten years and used many times in wintery conditions. I have great confidence that this will do the job every bit as well. The torch is bright and the light is not focused. It evenly lights up a wide area which I think will be very useful when needing to work by torchlight. Its useful range is probably up to 10 metres and won't be much good for trying to see anything more distant than that. It takes three AAA batteries and fits in a pocket easily. The foil blanket comes in its own pouch. Looks the same as others in my emergency kit and hopefully, I'll never need it, but these are an essential in a cold weather kit. The hi-vis vest is well-made and should fit most people. Another useful item to keep in the car. I cannot stress enough how important these are when you're stuck at the roadside in the dark, especially if you're in dark clothing. The bag the kit comes in is basic but feels reasonably strong. It fits nicely under either front seat in my car. Overall, I think it's worth the asking price considering the quality and utility of the items you get.

Purchased for Grandson, Xmas. It has everything for a winter emergency, nicely compact to fit in corner of his boot. Hoping he won't need it but have peace of mind it there for him. Very good price, well packed for delivery. Would recommend this item and this Company supplied through Amazon.
