Yes this will fit you may have to angle the brake and gear shifter so the levers don't touch the brake but it doesn't need much clearance

Is this compatible with shimano deore xt front derailleur

As long as the shimano derailleur has a 1:1 actuation as the actuation on Sram shifters are 1:1 but usually shimano derailleur have a 2:1 actuation.

Does this include both the front (3 spd) and rear (8 spd) shifters? The description says it's a set but is a bit unclear if it is a pair or not.
