Enchiridion

This translation is very difficult to read. I suggest getting Chuck Chakrapani's version instead: same wisdom, more accessible language.

If you want to change the way you view the world and look at it without the clouds of emotion, then this will open your eyes. Everyone should read the Enchiridion, should be taught in schools to all students.

A Stoic master work easily taking its place along side Marcus Aurelius and just as easy to dip in and out of.

Not exactly very many pages but was an enjoyable good read & full of many great quotes

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this edition includes not only the Enchiridion, but also the Fragments of Epictetus.The translation is decent, if a little old fashioned. Excellent quality for the price.

Everyone should read this (and understand and practise it). their lives -and the world- would be the better for it.

A pocket -sized paperback, small enough to fit in your bag wherever you go .I take mine to the beach, and dip into it while sunbathing in between swims !
