Way too much flaking
mascara flakes way too much after a few hours of wear. I do appreciate some of the brushes and how it applies. But I hate the flaking.

Not the same Tarte mascara
This trio pack is definitely not the same mascara if you buy individually from tarte. The surger curl and the lights camer action are completely dried out and not useable and the tubibg mascara is so wet that it gets everwhere and clumps your lashes. Super disappointed in thos un-usable set.

Extends my lashes better than others
As I've gotten older, my lashes have become more sparse. I'm 54 now and a redhead. I basically look like my eyes are a big old brown M&M with no lashes. Even using a curler, mascara doesn't do much. This mascara is different. I get length without clumping. It's almost like false eyelashes (without the perfection). So far, I have only tried the purple container (Lights, Camera, Lashes) and I will probably use that one up until it is empty before using the others. But from now on, Tarte is my only mascara because it is THAT MUCH BETTER.I was worried that since this pack was so cheap, I was probably getting a fake. I don't know, maybe I was just getting the Christmas packaging in February discount. Whatever it was, it works and I'm happy. The next time I put on my make-up, I'll take before and after pictures. (Maybe I'll post a picture with my regular mascara.)The Lights, Camera, Lashes is not touted to be waterproof, but I can say that it is at least water-resistant. When I had a sneezing attack and had tears running down my eyes, there were no black streaks. It takes make-up remover to be removed (I use E.L.F. cream make-up remover when I take off all of my make-up, but when I'm doing my make-up and I just want to get rid of a mascara mistake, I use the Garnier Miceller Water makeup remover on a Q-tip to wipe it off and then use the dry end to make sure the spot doesn't have any make-up remover left. With other mascara I could just do the old "wet a Q-tip" trip and this needs a little more heavy duty, and, again, this isn't even touted to be waterproof.
