Hacksaw Ridge [DVD] [2017]

Well worth watching plenty of action good true story

This was one of the most tear-jerking and inspiring films I have ever watched, the acting is incredible and I simply cannot believe it took me so long to finally watch this masterpiece. If you dislike gore however, I would perhaps reccommend not watching- there is a lot of blood and injury detail throughout.

Every moment of this film was great! Wonderful true story and superb acting from all concerned! Brings home how terrible war is.

The DVD is based on a true story. Incredible story of a Christian who wanted to join the American army but refused to carry a gun or kill. He got a very hard time in the army. He joined the medical corp and when sent to war, without carrying a gun, saved many many lives, including those who gave him a hard time earlier in his career. Definitely worth a watch, be aware bit bloody and graphic in some scenes.

Hacksaw Ridge is excellent war film based on a true story about a army medic and conscientious objector during the Japanese conflict of World War Two. He saved lives of the wounded without carrying a gun. A hard hitting film about the brutality of war. The battle scenes of strong bloody violence gory injury detail. The film is value for money pleased with the purchase.

What an outstanding film

What a film. I have watched it so many times, I still can't believe it is based on a true story, simply mind blowing. To top it all, they show an interview with the actual guy at the end. Unbelievable.
