I bought two of these boxes. If they went on sale tomorrow for one dollar each, I would not buy them again. My opinion is they are total junk. They dont fit any speed rings that I can find.I have a dozen of different styles including Photoflex. This box fits none of them. If you are able to force the wands in, it will be almost impossible to get out. Think speed when you are working on location. I tried to contact photoflex via email with a detailed description of the problem I was having. Basically they just blew me off. I broke my long standing rule, NEVER BUY CHEAP STUFF.it always costs more. Well, this was a $200+ dollar mistake. Save up your money and buy another brand.

I have no idea what problem the last reviewer had with Photoflex boxes. Yes, the outside fabric is not truck strength (like Westcott or Profoto) - but what are you going to do with a softbox? In a studio? Throw it around? It does what it is supposed to do at so much less cost than these other brands (I also have a Westcott softbox).Simply: it does the job and does it well.Speedrings? Look for what works with your heads. These softboxes are like all others -- meaning they will work on a speedring compatible with your heads. I use Chimera speedrings for my old Normans.
