LG Original Quick Circle Window Clip-On Flip Case Cover Compatible with LG G3 Smartphone - Black

Bought this case for my LG G3..and having bought a similar one for my G2 I was not surprised as to the quality and purpose of the case (except for the reason I paid double for the G2 one at the time..Grrr).....anyway...The back of the case has a lovely texture which is Much grippier then the G2 one with a velvety feel of very tiny ribs and does not attract finger prints either...a great plus for me..!!..The front has a rubbery feel too so holding the phone with this case fitted feels secure in the hand.All the necessary cut outs are there and are a perfect fit...When the case is opened the phone springs to life,but with the phone closed you can still access the Quick Circle apps and more from the App shop by double tapping the exposed screen..Some have mentioned that it's too flimsey and won't last...well I can say it will...My G2 one was on my phone for 2 and half years and still worked perfectly...even folding it right back..I have no doubts with this model either....also...Some have reported that it marks the screen because of the open circle....this will apply to ANY case out there which has a flap against the screen..just make sure your pockets are clean to begin with.The circle itself will not mark the screen rest assured.!!...The price is not bad either for the official case, it's very functional.. looks smart.. and sets it apart from most mobiles out there...Cheers

Fits over the back of the phone nicely, and front stays shut. looks nice and love the Quick Circle functions. i tried to remove the phone back like a few reviewers have and i fount that it could/would cause a few problems like the front not staying shut properly, being slightly too lose in the case and damaging corners of the phone body.Not yet tried to use the Qi charger with this back but since it is a snap on case (snaps on to the phone) and does not replace the original back, i think there would be problems with it due to the added material thickness between receivers. I guess that's why you pay a lot more for the proper Qi charging compatible ones that have the inbuilt receivers and replace the back of the phone.since i only bought this for a case the need for Qi functionality was not important, if it was i would recommend doing research on them or going into a shop on the high street (yes they still exist even with the internet) where you can see what your getting and ask questions before you buy it.

So I thought I would give this case a review after using it for a while, a year so have have a good chance to see how it holds up. All I can say is its done well and for the price you pay, its a great product.The version I have is the black variant. Its not actually black, its got a hint of silver in it, a very dark grey almost, but as a result it looks very clean and smart when paired with the black version of the LG G3. The case itself is simple with only a small LG G3 logo embossed on the front in a light grey and the LG logo on the back. It has has cut outs in all the right places and most importantly, for myself at least a cutout over the status LED indicator. The texture on the the front is a small if slightly course material which is easy to hold. On the rear its also got a different texture, essentially small horizontal lines compared to the original case, not better, not worse just different, but a lot easier to hold. The case front does not have magnets or clips, but fits very slightly into some grooves, which somewhat help to keep the front in place.The one I brought from here replaces the back panel which keeps the case fairly nice and thin. It works fine with the wireless charger and combined with the phone, comes in at 167 grams, so nothing heavy. The star of the show is of course the centre cutout. The cutout itself is a small gap which does not have a protective film and is mealy a hole so for that reason a thin screen protector would be a good combination. It does however have a thin layer of see through acrylic around the circumfrance and this is so when you close the screen you have the edge light up and a lovely glow momentarily.The phone itself has a few default setting that knows when you attach the quickcover. A double tap on the space with the quickcover on or a light press of the rear power button will display the clock. This clock can be somewhat customised to show or mimic watch fascias or show basic whether and location details. Most importantly this screen will also show a small version of the android task bar, so if you have any missed calls, Wattsapp message, message, E-mail and so on, the small notifications are shown. Now at this stage you can swipe the small circle and it will allow you to access a few basic apps or features such as seeing messages, accessing alarms, turning on the camera and so on. They are very basic by you can also customise what this screen shows. I recommend you check the play store as some clever people have created additional apps for the quick circle.In all a great and smart looking cover. It has a nice texture and feel and does not add too much weight. The quick circle idea works reasonably well and while I feel most people can simply open the phone to look at messages rather then looking through the small circle, its a nice touch. It does work great however to see the time. In all I am most impressed by how well the cover has lasted. Great buy in my opinion.

Fantastic case ... really love it so far ... wish you had more options on applications to be able to show in the circle ... not a problem with the case just need LG to sort that out.Thought I would use this case with wireless charging but constantly getting "Slow Charging" message. Took case off today to see if charging is any better with just the phone and it works great without the case.So if you are not bothered with wireless charging get this case if you are interested in wireless charging think twice before spending your money.

I already had a third party quick circle case but as that was starting to wear I thought I'd get a hopefully better quality official LG one.

Has protected my phone when I have dropped it numerous times. Even on concrete! Had it for over a year. still works.

Have this now for 2 years. Still working perfectly.

Good protection, even though the clock window is a bit gimmicky - it allows a circular disk of dust to collect on the screen that I often have to wipe off.
