world of colour
This piece of orchestral music is one of my favourites. To see it set out on paper makes you appreciate what the human brain is capable of achieving. A mystery of how Ravel heard this music in his head before setting it down to produce such contrasts in sound and colour. The score is printed on excellent quality paper pages are easy to turn whilst following the music on CD the cover gives you a glimpse of the music contained within.

Typical Dover edition.
Good quality score at a very low price. Most of the dover scores I've seen tend to be quite strong and as a very good conductor friend of mine say's, they are tougher than many others that cost more. I'm very happy!

Every students must-have
If you're a student of composition, orchestration or film-scoring or the like, this is a must-have. So many interesting things going on in there, and unless you have perfect ears - then you wouldn't need it anyway - the score is invalueable (?) if you want to see how Ravel obtained it. The score is in French, but with a glossary list on the front. However it's sometimes impractical to always flip the book, to see what the comments in the score mean. Very good binding and design, and shows why I like these slighty-larger-than-A4 Dover Publications.

Present for my son - he loves it
Christmas present for my son who plays the piano and he loves it. He is a great fan of Debussy's and Ravel's music and I got it as a set of 4 books books of piano scores. Came well packaged and in good condition.
