Tasty and Addictive Snack for Late Nights
The **Yutaka Wasabi Peas** are a perfect snack for late-night film-watching—especially when the choice is something gruesome on Prime. They have just the right balance of crunch and heat, with a wasabi kick that clears the sinuses but isn’t overwhelming. The 2kg bag is generous, making it great for sharing (or for slowly working through over multiple nights). They stay fresh and crispy, provided they’re stored properly. If you enjoy a spicy, savoury snack with a bit of bite, these are an excellent choice. Perfect for keeping alert through a late-night horror binge.

Ouch! Only for the Wasabi lover!
I'm almost at the end of my 2 KG tube, and already thinking of ordering another one. Yes, it's that good - and great value. This is obviously for the wasabi lover, not for the "yes, i like a bit of wasabi". NO, you have to love wasabi to enjoy these. The peas are generously covered with wasabi, to the extent of making you almost cry while chewing, it's very very powerful, but powerful in the wasabi way.The taste is great, and the peas are very good quality, exactly the hardness and texture you would expect from such a snack. Sometimes this type of snack is too dried up, too soft or not so crunchy. These are really really good.I have tried several wasabi flavoured snacks over the years, including peanuts, but these peas are by far the best that I've tried. The price is a steal if you take into account that it's 2000 grams of product. You may think that it's too much and that it will go bad when opened. Actually, I'm the only one eating it, and after three months, the product is exactly the same. You just have to pay attention with the lid, and not leave the jar open, otherwise the peas will become soft and not so spicy (happens to some leftovers if you don't eat the whole portion). So as long as you keep the jar closed, the product should be great for months.Again, I think this is a good chance to enjoy wasabi peas. Just bear in mind that it will clear your nostril hair in a flash!

HIGH IN CALORIES and addictive.
They're dried peas coated in wasabi flavouring - technically one of your five a day? - so I was munching on these by the handful. Figured it would be healthier to eat these than munching on crisps. Absolutely horrified to find they are super high in calories and I can't figure out WHY. What is in a dried pea that makes it so cashcalorie? That said, the nutritional information is right there at the top of the page, so it isn't like I was mislead. I just didn't bother checking, to my detriment. Now I'm addicted to them and their refreshingly spicy flavour. They make my nose run and my eyes tingle in the best possible way. I've been eating them as the crunch in salads, on top of stir fried cabbage and kale, as a straight snack. They are too good to be this bad for me.

Nice, but a little bitter on the finish and lacking some bite
I'd got addicted to the wasabi peas from J Sainsbury's in the past year, and decided to try this large pack of branded ones to save some money.I'm liking these Yukata peas, and they offer excellent value for money. But I'm not quite into them like I'd gotten into JS's.Compared to the Sainsbury's, there is a slight bitterness to the finish the JS ones don't have, and the JS ones are definitely a little stronger in that love-it-or-hate it wasabi kick. Comparing nutrition info, the Yukata is a little lower in sugar and fat, but it is a tad higher in salt, so putting that together I wonder if that's the cause of the bitter finish? That said, these still make your eyes water when the scent gets up your nose. If you like snacks with heat, nothing else I've yet tried can touch wasabi peas.On cost grounds alone I probably won't go back to Sainsbury's ones even though I preferred them, but once these are finished, I think I will try at least one other value variant to further compare. So I'd absolutely consider buying these again in the future if they turn out to be the best value option.

Wasa Pea Yule
Bought as a Xmas gift for my brother and he was over the moon. He has said that there isn't much of the nasal burn with these ones but they are tasty nevertheless.

Very tasty
Some of the best wasabi peas I've tasted, and I've tasted a lot! 2kg ended up being a much bigger tub than I was expecting! But excellent value for money, very happy 😁

Short sell by date.
Not very happy - it has only a 3 month sell by date. This should be clearly flagged before purchasing especially when it’s such a large quantity.
