Casper Sleep Foundation, Queen

I bought a casper mattress back in May when we moved into our new house. at the time, i didn't think it mattered what i put it on (yes, despite all the stuff on Casper's website about the importance of what you put it on). I was using the mattress on the boxspring my former memory foam mattress had sat on. Over the months, it seemed less and less comfortable to sleep on, with the result that I really didn't look forward to going to bed. I finally decided to try the Casper foundation. It comes it a pretty large heavy box (the length of the mattress, but much thinner). Probably need 2 people to carry it up a flight of stairs - or one really strong person. It should make it up most narrow or twisty stairs much better than a traditional box spring, though, b/c of the way it's packed. I was able to put it together almost completely by myself, EXCEPT for the center support beam that goes the length of the bed in the middle. That needed two people to get it lined up properly in the slots in the headboard and footboard and push down at the same time, b/c it is juuuuust long enough (seems not long enough at first) so there's no room to be pushing down at an angle. anyway, once in place, roll out the slats, and drop the mattress on it. First night, and every night since, I finally understand why people love their Casper mattresses. And my husband, who is on the large side, agrees that our bed is now very comfortable.Platform - does not move or squeak. Has decent looking fabric sides. Goes together (mostly) easily. Makes the Casper mattress an extraordinarily good sleeping experience.The four stars are only because of the challenge with the middle beam installation - that was pretty frustrating - everything else is a 5 plus!

The Casper sleep foundation is perfect for bedrooms only accessible via narrow stairwells or doorways. It provides very, very firm support for a mattress and is easy to assemble. We now have both a king-size foundation with two twin XL mattresses and a queen-size foundation. With firm mattresses they are very sturdy and comfortable. Never knowing what kind of bedroom space is going to be available makes these foundations the perfectly versatile alternative to a rigid box spring.

My husband set it up with very little difficulty. Nice and firm, good and sturdy..... so far. We bought it a few weeks agoIt also had no trouble in our present box spring frame... fit perfectly

It has performed perfectly since purchased. Only caveat is they didn't fit the frame of the bed as well as I had hoped. But the case it is in protects it from falling apart

I really like the comfort factor of this mattress. I sleep soundly, and wake up with zero joint aches. It sleeps a bit hot, however. I’m undecided about returning it vs. moving it into my guest room.

I bought this Foundation to replace or traditional box spring that seemed to be sagging in the middle. This was a huge improvement and supports the mattress fully. It was super easy to assemble and put in place of our old box spring. The only hard part of the process was getting rid of our old box spring.

It went together easily. One small issue though: there was a rip in the cloth covering the slats which was annoying, although it didn't affect the function of the product.

This mattress is very good for the money. Tried it on the Casper foundation and was good. I then placed mattress and foundation on a frame and that was the formula for me,turned out GREAT combination. This mattress would also go well with a slotted bed frame. I’m 74 and find it easier getting out of bed 27 inches off the floor.
