I was hesitant to purchase this based on the negative reviews, but decided to give it a try. I have the Homedics 5 in 1 air purifier from Costco. The bulb installation was easy but the red light kept blinking afterwards. I tried everything from unplugging the device, holding the power button down for 7 seconds, holding the uv-c button down, etc. It wasn’t until I held down the ion button for several seconds that the light finally stopped blinking. It’s working as it should so far.

Easily installed with Great Instructions!! Others mentioned UV-C red light after wouldn’t turn off But They’re wrong!! They didn’t read instructions to hold in on UV-C Button for 3 Seconds to reset after replacing and powering back up!! Just like you do for filter after replacing to reset it. It’s simple, took a couple mins. Read included instructions in box you’ll be fine!! Also Very well packaged to Protect glass!! Recommended

I needed a replacement UV-C light bulb like yesterday for my Homedics air purifier. I got these bulbs and was worried they were defective from the bump out on the glass. My old bulb had the same thing so I guess this is normal. Swapping the old out and replacing was easy and didn't have any problem. I reset my purifier by pressing the 'ion' button for about 5 seconds and the red blinking light came off. So far so good.

Perfect fit for original and now we have a spare.

This was awful! Didn’t work. Tried to contact seller but never heard back. I would NOT recommend this to anyone ever. If I could give it a negative star I would.

Works just like the original. Lots of reviews complain about the red UV light not resetting itself however you must manually reset it after replacing the bulb. Instructions are located in the manual that came with it. If you have the 5 in 1 large unit like I do I pasted instructions below to reset the uv light. For a TotalClean 5-in-1 UV Large Room Air Purifier Turn on the air purifier by plugging the power cable into an AC outlet and pressing the power button. Press and hold the ionizer button for three seconds, and the indicator will go off.
