Replaced a low flushing toilet. This one is great.

It seems this is good looking and well rated toilet, but when we opened the box we found a big chunk of broken porcelain lying inside. Home Depot no longer stocks these toilets in their stores, so to expedite things we ordered a replacement from another supplier.

I purchased this toilet online through the big box hardware store found across the U.S. thinking it was the same as the other two one piece Kohler models I have in my home. This toilet IS NOT the same as the other two in my home.The toilet has an opening at the back top of the large inner upper rim that the water channels through to flush the toilet. I do not believe anyone ever tested this toilet from the factory because it is very common for the waste remnants to end up on the bottom of the toilet lid (gross). You definitely should never flush this toilet while seated unless you’re ready to get splashed by the what’s in the toilet bowl.This is not a simple toilet to clean like other Kohler models due to its messy mode of operation, the wide upper inner channel often requires extra cleaning as does the underside of the toilet lid.I guess every company has a lemon and i would strongly encourage anyone considering this toilet to look for a different Kohler model.

If you fancy yourself the Picasso of the plunger arts, or have a budding fancy for spending more time in the bathroom, this is the toilet for you. If you'd like to examine your family's bowel movements in greater detail and enjoy being the go-to-guy when they go number two, please do yourself a favor and GET THIS TOILET. Low flush? Nah, bro. It's NO flush. There's no amount of water savings that's worth the hassle of this weak flushing toilet. Not only is it underpowered for taking your solids to the waste treatment plant, but it's also extremely slow to fill, so your plunger work is going to be even more annoyingly agonizingly slow. We bought this during a bathroom remodel as a replacement for a much older toilet that worked perfectly fine, so it's not the pipes. Currently in search of a terrifyingly loud toilet that flushes with the force of a fire hydrant, because I never want to touch another plunger, ever again.
