I bought these, and another 2-pack from another brand to see what the delta would be given these would be more expensive, but still far below three Apple originals they ape so closely. Like - the fact that these are also black, which is for me preferable to Apple white. While the sound quality may not be up there (and I am a bit of a sound quality headphone person) with the Apples, they get pretty darn close, and are certainly more than good enough for the price paid. Only real dislike is the separate mic and volume control, and I am not keen on the slider vol control compared to the fancier up/down control as Apple and other clones have. Most likely the price to pay to keep the cost down, provide all the functionality, and keep a level of quality in the product.Overall - well satisfied with price/performance ratio. Now looking also for some similar style, with colours other than black or white!

I hardly ever write reviews since my time is valuable and I'm not one of those people who have nothing better to do than to write a review about a napkin dispenser or banana cutter. 99% of the time you get what you pay for. I am not writing a review because I think I was ripped off although I do believe they should only cost $4.99 at most, I am writing a review to level set the expectations with any future buyers because at a current rating of 4.5 stars and an "Amazon's choice" award, that is the biggest load of crap I have ever seen since the Grinch stole Christmas. After about 13 seconds of listening to these I immediately proceeded to return them and believe me that I had rock bottom low expectations, especially for a mere $12.99. I only bought them because I needed a cheap pair for work but they honestly sound like the original Gameboy 8 bit earphones, even worse than my rock bottom expectations and most certainly do not deserve a 4.5 stars average and "Amazon's Choice" award! unless someone at Amazon was heavily bribed, I have no idea why Amazon would be willing to hurt their brand by putting a stamp of approval on these joke tin can sounding earphones. This one gets a solid 1 star from me. No mas!

I've never reviewed anything on amazon before but i feel like i need to share. These are not what i was expecting at all. These things are advertised to not fall out but i can't get these things to stay in my ears for the life of me. I've decided to just purchase a different pair of earbuds. I should have learned from a past mistake of not checking verified buyer reviews but most of these 5 star reviews are most likely fake.

They aren't super comfortable when used for a long time, I suppose, since the part that goes into the ear is plastic--but that's just how it is with this type of earbuds. The sound quality seems good.Edit 5/20/18: For a while (like a month or two) these have been doing weird things when plugged into my MacBook. When I used it, it would constantly open iTunes and start playing music--I think the mic/button is broken. Now, it could be that I broke it and it was my fault, but none of my other earphones I've owned with the same mic/button feature was broken so quickly and so...annoyingly. I should have checked on fakespot.com before I purchased because at the time, this had a 4+ star rating.

Reasons for 5 starts:1. For the price, the quality is surprisingly good! I've purchased a whole bunch of cheaper headphones and most of the sound quality have been blurry. These headphones are quite clear. Obviously, they're only 10-12 bucks so don't expect mindblowing crystal clear bose-like quality.2. I've had these for 5-6 months now and they're still intact. I am quite impressed since my other cheaper headphones died after 2-3 months.3. If you're looking for cheap non-canalphone type earbuds, these are for you! I am lowkey paranoid that I'll go deaf sooner if I wear canalphones all the time, so I have these to switch out sometimes.4. Overall, I like these headphones b/c they serve their purpose--everyday wear for my commute to and from work and more active wear.I'd suggest these for overall value and for non-canalphone type earbuds (they're getting harder to find).

These headphones are awesome. First of all they sound really really good. It's a little bass heavy, but not enough that it muddies up the rest of the sound spectrum. The microphone is really really good. It's really sensitive to sound but is still able to maintain clarity from noise. It's got a single control button that works for most general functions in phones and audio players. The flat cable is a plus. I just like flat cables. It's made with quality plastic. This is easy to recommend

I’m going to be perfectly honest when I say that I didn’t expect the product to be good. It arrived quickly, in about a week with standard shipping, and the quality of the headphones are actually really good. The plastic feels cheep but the wiring and the sound quality matches the quality of the Apple headphones. I’d recommend these to anyone who wants cheep, high quality headphones.

Save your money and the painful discomfort. These earbuds slip out of my ears and have poor audio quality. The most use you will get out of them is sitting completely still in a quiet room. I suspect some of these reviews have been falsified through a form of compensation.
