Perfect condition and accurate

This is good to give me an idea of where my levels are at. I don’t require pinpoint accuracy so these are fine for me.I have no fish yet so nitrites and nitrates are where they should be. PH is where I expected it for my area, as is KH slightly hard. The GH for general hardness will have spiked due to substrate added whilst planting so is not unexpected.As you can see from my image some interpretation is required, and confidence to accept that they are correct. I’ll keep this under review as I compete my cycle and add fish.

The colour difference between 0 and 0.5 (with 0.25 between them) is too subtle to get an accurate reading, so I bought a master test kit instead, which is much more accurate, and easier to read the ammonia level. That said, these are much more convenient, since they just need to be dipped in the water, as opposed to collecting a vial of water and mixing two different chemicals.

This is definitely a must have. My fish was acting strange and looked like he was dying last night so I gave him an epsom soak while I did a water change, because I figured it was the water. He perked right up. It was the strangest thing. I unfortunately didn’t have any testing strips so I ordered these and they got here the very next day. I tested the water and the nitrates and the ph were pretty high still. So did another water change today and now I have happy fish. The tests are reading normal. I’m not an experienced fish keeper and never thought of checking the water conditions I just put water conditioner in and called it good.. I know, I’m terrible.. but after last night these are a must have for me. They're super easy to read and seem to be pretty accurate.A little tip. I cut each strip down the middle so that I have even more tests. They’re still really easy to read. Just be careful

I bought these along side API 5 in 1 strips so I would be able to read all the necessary water quality readings.They seem pretty accurate so far, and are super easy and quick to use. I love these compared to the liquid ones with drops of chemicals. Way faster and way easier to read! I would definitely recommend these for water testing!
