Very hood quality

Well made and always works. This is a present and I am sure the recipient will be thrilled.

A decent little lighter, I lost my old zippo and the 2 days I was without it were pure hell.I've checked for any signs that it's a forgery, just in case, and I can confirm that I'm pretty sure it's a GENUINE zippo lighter. Just in case you were wondering how to check for a forged Zippo I'll post a few simple points:1. Dull flat click. When you open and shut your Zippo it should have a nice echoey ping.2. Brass pins. A genuine Zippo will not have brass pins through the thumbwheel and the lock connecting the insert to the case.3. Obviously the price, this is pretty much the RRP for a cheap ZIppo. Fakes will be cheaper.You can also check when your Zippo was made by looking on the bottom of the case. The letter on the left will indicate the month (A is Jan, B is Feb etc.) And then the year is on the right. Mine is June 08, bit old for a new item but I guess it doesn't really make a difference.The month and date will also be on the insert (don't worry if the date on the insert doesn't match the date on the bottom, they are often made at different times).

This is a great lighter, whether you're a collector or a smoker. To start with, the finish looks very nice; and after some vicious use (attempting to do party tricks etc.) there are no scratches on the outer casing. There are however a few scratches on the chimney, but they're barely noticeable - which is great considering I've bashed this around like hell.Zippo advise that you use their own premium lighter fluid for it, but I'm using a general unbranded lighter fluid that I bought from the 99p Store, so you can save a few quid there - providing it's a liquid state lighter fluid, you can most likely use it.The only real problem I've noticed with this, is that the wick started fraying rather quickly; but again I am bending it back and forth for various tricks.I'd definitely recommend this, especially for the RRP in comparison to the Amazon price.

Great product for the price: cool brushed-steel effect and came in a smart presentation box making it ideal for a gift. It has heft and the lid closes with a satisfactory 'click'; just two examples of what makes this feel a quality product. Full instructions and guarantee come placed on inside of box lid (manufacturers will repair product for free!). N.B.: lighter doesn't come filled, so you'll need to purchase lighter fluid; you don't need Zippo fluid as universal make will do the job and a 133ml tin can be bought for less than £2. Also recommend ordering replacement flints (about £1 for six in handy dispenser) as no spares come with product and mine needed replacing after less than two months of moderate use. These last points aren't criticisms - the lighter is a great item for smoker and non-smoker alike.

not much to say...everyone knows these are the best lighters on the market...high quality long lasting, with a lovely little gift box, both Zippo and Swan products can be used with it (gas/flints etc) i've had it over a year with daily use and have only had to change the wick once...original cotton is still going strong.FYI - when it comes to changing wick you don't need to buy a new one you can just use a pair of nose pliers, pull up about an inch and snip the charred part off! 10/10 as far as prouct goes!

This is my first time purchasing a Zippo lighter and I must say that I'm impressed with the build quality and longevity of the lighter.Obviously I have not used this lighter for a long time, but you can see it was built to last with the replaceable wick, flint, fluid and rayon balls.The look is fantastic and it's definitely worth the investment when compared to getting a cheap of a old butane gas lighter as this will last a lot longer and is a lot more useful with the constant burning flame without having to hold onto a button. I can't use anything else after listening to the satisfying and well known sound of a Zippo that seems to turn heads just because of that recognisable sound.
