Didn't make me angry even once!
Used, condition as described. Excellent image and sound, and discounted price, from our regular third party, momox uk- via Germany. Solo outing for Mr. Ed Norton, as the production record shows he made unwanted changes to parts of the script, causing unsettlement, at the time; and, later, tried to claim a credit for his scripting. He lost his case, and Marvel stated that they believed his collaboration was made "in bad faith". Nonetheless, they said he did do a great job, and thanked him for his work...then recast the part! (I have always worried about Mr. Norton, since he ended his relationship with actress Salma Hayek, instead of marrying her.) Recommended... the film, and seller, that is.

Green Mean Blu-Ray
This 2008 re-working of the Hulk is Action packed and fun filled and makes for a great Hulk movie. Edward Furlong takes on the role of the Hulk this time round and delivers a good performance as Dr Banner. The pacing of the whole movie works much better than the earlier 2003 version and definatley gives much more action sequences. A nod is also made to the late 70's early 80's TV show. At one point the old theme tune is used to good effect and whilst watching the TV in is Brazilian shanty flat you see Bill Bixby (the TV Show Dr Banner) Appear in an amusing scene on a show you asume is the Hulk but realise its just a well chosen scene from another show and is very amusing. Lou Ferrigno who played the Actual Hulk part in the TV show also appears as a security guard in the college campus. The current Marvel trend of linking togther all the comic strips and making the Marvel universe more 3 dimensional is also apparent with the minor cameo apperances other marvel characters are making in the new films, also happens in the end credits of this film. This should herald the arrival of an Avengers movie at some point in the not to distant, which if they stick to somtheing like the original format should see hulk along with Thor (Kenneth Brannagh directing this movie release to be confirmed) Ironman captain America and a few more heros thrown in for good measure. The Blu-Ray quality was superb. The picture is bright and vibrant and the sound track is also spectacular. The Disk is not shy of extras either, included amongst which is around 50 minutes of deleted/extended scenes and a whole raft of other goodiesAll in all a good Night in for any Hulk/Superhero Fans

A Visual and Audio Experience for the Home Cinema Enthusiast
I didnt see this movie when it was released, just never got round to it. But, being a movie buff and a Hulk fan from the late 1970s, I decided to purchase this anyway, especially on Blu Ray.Now, what I liked about this version, which is far superior to the original Ang Lee version from about 5 years ago, is that the action scenes are quite simply awesome!!! Moreover, the storyline is much better and flows to a great all action end sequence between the Hulk and the Abomination, sequences which have to be seen to be believed! And being on Blu Ray, the picture detail is quite simply out of this world!!The story centres around Bruce Banner(Ed Norton) who has hidden himself away in the Brazilian jungle to avoid the american military led by a general (William Hurt)who wants to use the Hulk as a weapon. Bruce desperatly wants to find a way to contain and control the terrible rages which causes him to change into the Hulk. He also wants to be reconciled with the love of his life, (Liv Tyler) who has been trying to find a cure, but without success. There isnt a great deal more to say about the plot, so all it needs to be said is that the action sequences are some of the best ever seen in a movie. Movie buffs and action fans are in for a treat, and if you have a Surround Sound Home Cinema set up capable of delivering 5:1 Audio and upwards, then it makes this purchase even better.I noticed some reviewers have complained about problems with the disc. This is because of the very high resolution which the blu ray disc generates. Therefore you need to update the firmware/software on the machine. I have recently purchased the Sony BD 350 which is a great player and can be bought for less than £200 and contains updated firmware which allows new discs to be played without any glitches.

weak but not a disaster
Being released at virtually the same time as Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk fell well into its shadow. The proof is in the pudding as they say, as whilst Marvel have brought the Hulk back to the big screen (in the Avengers for example), as of writing this there have not been any more Hulk movies and nor is there any talk of doing so. Compared to Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk seems too talkative and drama orientated. That's not to say its a poor movie, it just lacks the fun, action packed, comic book style of many other movies in the MCU and perhaps takes itself a little too seriously. Marvel however, were certainly weighing up what worked and what didn't in the first couple of years and have since created a treasure trove of brilliant entertaining movies. It is certainly better than the 2003 version, so give it a go and make your own judgement.

A film for the fans!
I was not looking forward to this film, having enjoyed the TV show of years gone by and the previous Hulk film, wondering what they could do that was interesting or different. What they did was create a film that was clearly made for the FANS, and what a fantastic film it is.The Hulk origins are effectivley rewritten in the opening credits, and from there, the film follows its own course, a fast paced adventure with believable characters and some great CGI. We see more of the Hulk, more fight scenes, and for the fans, we are treated to glimpses of the old TV show in the form of a bit of that distinctive piano music we all came to love, the appearence of McGee, a cameo by Bill Bixby and a hysterical twist on the 'Don't make me Angry' line. It also acts as a set up for other Marvel productions, so watch carefully, and the ending is out of this world!Forget the previous film, according to this, and now me, it does not exist, THIS is the definitive Hulk film. More please!
