Humbrol 125 ml Acrylic Thinners

Great value and work well. However, it is a large bottle with no dropper attachment so not easy to use in small amounts when pouring from the bottle. Would be so much better with a dropper (like on Valejo paints). Am using a spare brush to transfer small amount - will probably look for a small cheap syringe to use going forward

This humbrol acrylic thinners, is great. It even thins dried acrylic paint, the only product that I have found that does this.

These thinners work well for both brush application and airbrush use. You only need to use a few drops at a time, so should last for ages.

Bought this to use with some acrylic paints used for clay painting. It works great to thin out paints that are slightly too viscous to paint finely with, and also for later brush cleaning. Very happy.

Most of my paints are Humbrol (for nostalgic reasons mainly) so it felt right to buy the Humbrol thinners.This product works perfectly well, and does exactly as it should, it also seems to increase drying time a little, which allows the product to be applied without leaving brush marks if over worked, and prevents clogging if airbrushing. Just a drop or two added with a pipette, and stir it in.There's no particular odour to to this liquid, so using it in a confined room is not a problem.Remember though, it's only for acrylic paints, not enamel.

I use Humbrol acrylic paints, with a brush, and it has become part of my normal painting process now to always add a few drops of Humbrol thinners to the paint (then a good stir) before applying. Less streaks, more even coverage, and more detail can be seen. I also use it to thin down acrylic varnish finishes, and it has the same great effect.Its reasonably low odour and a little goes a long way.If you are not an airbrusher, or are not using airbrush paints, then a decent thinner is also an essential in your kit. this one is one of the better options.
