Just what I needed!!
I bought a camera strap that had some pockets for spare batteries and cards, but found it got a bit uncomfortable when wearing it for a while, as it got quite hot around the neck - and was not able to extend as far as I wanted it to.After doing a bit of research online, I finally settled on the Leash from Peak Design - as all of the reviews I had seen were very positive of the product, and after looking at all of the straps available from them and other suppliers - decided that it was the most potential to give me what I was looking for.It is a bit pricy to be honest, but is very, very good quality and extremely comfortable - it is really 3 straps in one, and I found that for my Sony bridge camera, it is absolutely perfect. The connectors are very strong and easy to attach and dismantle, and there are 3 included along with a baseplate so you can but one on each side for wearing the strap over your neck - or one on the side and one on the bottom for wearing it like a sash (my favourite way) - which I was not able to do with my other strap. It is very compact and takes up so much less room that my other strap, or you could just put it in your pocket if you were going to use a different strap.....for any reason that I cant think of at the moment?I would imagine it would not be as comfortable with a large camera (please don't ask me if it will be ok for x camera - as I have no idea on them :)) and one of Peak Design's other products would be better suited - but for me, this is ideal.I am currently considering whether to purchase the hand strap for my small Sony camera as well - but if Peak Designs want to send me one to review - I would be more than happy to do so :)Summary - If you need a new strap for a small/med camera (with 2 anchors) - you could do a lot worse than this - bit pricy, but worth it!!

Best value strap I can trust to keep my camera safe
Absolutely love this strap. It's very minimal an non obtrusive while still providing great comfort. Using the peak design loops makes getting the right fit perfect while out and about, I have one on the bottom and one on the right and have the camera hang under my left side while slung over my head and neck, makes grabbing the camera easy and quick to snap photos. It's made of a seat belt material and feels strong and sturdy while easy to slide over clothes without getting caught (like my old strap). I also like how compact this strap is and folds up very small. I pair this with a Lumix S5 (1kg with lens) and it handles it easy.

Pricey but very good.
Very well made quality product, just what I was looking for. The design is practical with good functionality with my Sony A6000, as I don't like the standard strap that came with it. The sling strap is great and easy to wear with great fixing points for multiple adjustments.A bit pricey, but worth it; guess the manufacturer knows this hence charging what they do. A little annoying the packaging creates a few kinks in the strap, but nothing a damp towel and iron did not sort out to get it flat. Great sling, very happy.

Peak Design L-AS-3 Camera Strap
Peak Design manufacture some really great and innovative products; their larger camera straps are utterly fantastic, but a bit too big for the Sony's APS-C sensor cameras, so I had a browse through their other products and found this one which is much more suited.Packaging is always top-notch, so will give a hood impression should you purchase this as a gift for someone.Included in the box are: Camera strap, anchor points x4, Allen key, camera base plate, carry pouch. The strap is very well made as you would expect from Peak Design and it looks extremely smart too.Anchor points are easily attached and detachable, but lock in place so accidentally detach doesn't happen. The strap is also easily adjusted in a matter of seconds.Peak Design are a premium brand, but trust me when I say, once you've used one of their straps, you won't want any other brand. Well worth the money.

Perfect for a CSC camera
I got the Leash in ash grey. It looks very classy with the tan leather accents. The width is perfect for my Olympus OMD. The Slide/Slide Lite would be too wide.It adjusts really easily to switch between shoulder, neck, or across the body sling modes, or for when I give the camera to my wife (who is much smaller). It is longer than a normal shoulder strap, so is very flexible and fits even an XL man.For my OMD with a shall lens, it works best attached to the lugs on each side of the camera. Attaching to the base plate may be better with a longer, heavier lens. It's nice to have the flexibility.A few things that make it not perfect.1. It could do with a grip side like the Slide. It's just smooth seat belt like material and quite slippy. This is great for easy camera access, but the camera can flop forward when you bend. Something to watch.2. The quick release attachments are a bit bulky and kind of get in the way when you grip the camera in your right hand. I've tried gripping the attachment in my palm with the camera, but not comfortable, so I generally grip it under with the attachment resting across the back of my hand. Still a bit awkward, but I'm getting used to it.3. The metal attachments look great and are really good quality, but I worry they might scratch my camera when it's packed in the bag. It hasn't yet, but I worry.Overall, really happy with my Leash. It's not cheap, but when you see the quality it is very good value.

Simply the best
Peak Design: Simply the best. Plenty of compliments have already been written by others but I feel that another might help other enthusiasts to make their decision. This is so good I now have two, plus the wider strap and the wrist strap. I’ve purchased lots of extra ‘buttons’ and attached them to all sorts of bags, cameras, tripod mounts etc. Durable, simple, easy to use and ultra-useful. Easily removed and rolled up, this allows for the sheer enjoyment of an unencumbered camera in the hand when that’s possible. Brilliant system that has added a great deal to the physical feel, enjoyment and security of my photography. Highly recommended.
