A small amount will carry all-day and the fragrance doesn't mutate over time, so you don't get that 'souring' of only base notes by the end of the day. (Unlike Vera Wang Women) It is subtle - not garrulous like some \"Oriental\" type perfumes (think Chloe). It isn't a an old lady perfume either - but I don't think most teenagers would go for it. Amber is delicious, complex, mysterious. Some of the other perfumes I wear are Coco, Pure, White Zen, Bulgari The Blanc.
