Daylight Lamps Super Clip-on Eye Glass Magnifier

Delivery service OK but the product is too heavy for my light weight glasses and the magnification is 1.5 which may not always be enough. Also a bit confusing when wearing verifocal lenses,However it would work well with heavier frames, a great idea. but I should probably have returned them as They are not a whole lot of use to me.

The overall idea is good BUT the manufacturer has not thought of large, bifocal lenses. The magnifier I ordered does not cover the bottom of my spectacle lenses making them totally useless. All sewing and needle work is done looking down on the work, not looking straight or up, hence the need to have larger and longer lenses to cover the wearer's spectacles fully.I am hoping someone will produce the correct sizes of these magnifiers and give us a choice to order the right ones.

Very helpful with my art project detailed and paper work. A bit heavy though so they tend to drag my glasses down my nose. Also, please don't assume that everyone you post to is over 80. The stack of catalogues and leaflets for assisted living, velcro slippers and mobility aids that came in the pqckaging was a bit much for the average 30 year old to get!

These do the job, leaving your hands free. They are a standard size so don't expect made to measure. Yes they are a bit bulky & slip on my frames but this is the first time that I have been able to thread a needle for several years. They come in a pouch to keep them scratch free when not in use. They are a simple tool aid that has given me the confidence to take up a new hobby.

They are flimsy but does the job.The clips are attached with 2x screws to each lens and is the weak point. One of the screws I suspect was overtightened so starting to crack. The lens are about 50mm deep so are not a comfortable fit in spectacles with less depth.

I did not order strong enough magnification . therefore they are of no use as i already have that magnification in my spectacles. I thought it would double it to enable me to continue doing my xstitch but it was a lost cause.

I have removed a 1 star review I gave a few days ago. The reason is the seller has now courteously solved the problems.He gave me a full refund and asked me to keep the items as a gesture of goodwill. Such customer service should be publicly recognised.The item is larger that I imagined so it is not as convenient as I had hoped , but nevertheless it is worth the price charged.

I use these with a dedicated pair of reading glasses and are great for reading small print, text on difficult backgrounds and close up jobs like soldering, threading a needle etc. Probably not so useful if you have only one pair of spectacles and had to keep taking them on and off.
