Decent romance with no surprises
This is a fairly obvious brothers best friend romance with no real surprises. Alex is not given a huge amount of depth but is a nice guy who loves swimming, his best friend and his family. Plus he has never quite gotten over his crush on Remy his best friends brother. Most of the angst in this book comes from Remy and Baileys parents divorce and the reasons behind it and to be honest that is the main reason I only gave this three stars, because that part was so heavy handed and Baileys attitude so irritating that he became a big negative to me. When the main reason the two love interests can't see each other is because of a whiny guy who acts like a toddler then I struggle to care. Yep divorce is hard, but this just got old fast and how Bailey still had this attitude after 2 years was insane. So much time was spent on this to the detriment of really exploring the life of 2 people with differing views and career paths. Not the strongest of the Franklin U books to be fair but if you can stand Bailey a nice romance between the 2 main characters.

Really good read quite believable and very heartwarming
I was enthralled reading this book you know a book is good when it’s really hard to put down and you’re reading late into the small hours the characters were very believable and there’s lots of little details and fine edges that show the experience and the imagination of the author I won’t give any of the plot away but I would recommend you read it yourself

great best friend’s brother college romance
Great addition to this college series. Really enjoyed this, how it was from friends to lovers, conflict with best friend, family matters, plus it had characters and places from other books in this series.

Fabulous
This was fab. So much chemistry from the start and the spice was high. Brother's best friend stories often creates angst and this had slight angst. I loved the way this book flowed and read it is one sitting.

Another Good Addition to This Wonderful Series
Another good addition to the Franklin U series. This is book 7 and is Remy and Alex’s story. They have known each other since they were kids as Remy’s younger brother Bailey is Alex’s best friend.Alex has always had a crush on Remy but thought he was straight until they had a “moment” together before Remy went off to Franklin U and he realised he was bisexual. Two years later Alex and Bailey also go to FU on a swim scholarship and join the FU Kings swim team and Alex sees his crush again. Remy is totally opposite to his brother (thank god) and is not into sports at all but he is a talented artist. The main storyline for this book centred around Remy and Bailey’s parents divorce and Remy’s part in it. I have to say that Bailey was hard to like and behaved like a toddler for the majority of the book which kind of took the emphasis off the developing love story between Remy and Alex which was a sweet romance and the chemistry between them was hot. There was mention of one or two previous characters but this book didn’t involve them at all.I can’t believe this series is almost over. It has been fun with some adorable characters but on the bright side the last book is Eden Finley’s contribution.

A great addition to the series
This is book seven in the Franklin U series, which is a multi-author series. It’s definitely possible to read them individually as the other characters appear more in the distance or as side characters, but their stories aren’t alluded to.This is a brother's-best-friend story where the brothers have had a falling out. I must admit that I loved Remy and Alex, but the brother, Bailey, really annoyed me. I was glad he wasn’t the mc. It’s hard to explain without giving away the plot, but Bailey holds Remy responsible for the break-up of their family. While the author gives reasons for his feelings, I found him a little childish. However, it forms the reasons for Remy and Alex to keep their distance and then keep their relationship a secret when this proves too much. The connection between them comes across really well. Alex, in particular, grabbed my heart; he really tries to be there for Bailey and, at the same time, acknowledges how hard it is for Remy. Clearly, this is more than friends-with-benefits as things develop, but Remy struggles to trust himself and commit. They really are a great couple, and the ending was particularly satisfying for the way Alex stands his ground and Remy steps up. These are a great couple, and with a sweet, satisfying ending, the earlier plot frustrations around Bailey really didn’t matter. Not my favourite of the series or the authors, but still a really good addition that’s absolutely worth the read.
