Great for at home use
I purchased this to use for educational material for my son. I didnt want something large, expensive and wanted something that was easy to use. The reviews on this were good and it all seemed very straight forward to me. It is fantastic and simple. It came with approx 5 sheets to get started. I tested it with photos as this would be thicker than a piece of paper which will be standard for what I laminate. It only takes a couple of minutes to warm up and the light comes on to tell you its ready. The laminating sheets go in slowly and don't go off going in straight. I didnt need to run the laminating sheets through a second time. It did it fantasticly the first time. My only thing was when I was first warming it up it smelled quite funny. Also took a little while to cool down, but not really a problem. But overall it is fantastic, easy to use and very reasonably priced. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, small laminator thats easy to use.

good laminator - quick, efficient, well made
As a teacher, I make a lot of resources both for decorating my classroom and for students to use, and this laminator has literally saved me hours of work. It's so quick and easy to use, and at such a reasonable price, has allowed me to laminate all of my classroom display materials with no impact on the school's budget (and not much on mine). The machine heats up really quickly, has a little light pop on to let you know when it's ready, and gives a high quality finish - I've not yet been disappointed and I've sent about 100 items through it over the last few weeks. The items that are being laminated are easily gripped by the rollers inside, travel through the machine steadily and stop at the other side - just make sure you keep an eye on it so you remove them when they finish. It's also provided my cats with endless hours of entertainment as they watch the laminating pouches travel through the machine - they've never been so quiet... I bought this and the Fellowes ImageLast A4 80 Micron Laminating pouches and they work really well together. You just pop whatever you need into the pouch, make sure you have got it aligned with a decent border of plastic around it (make sure no paper is sticking out, the machine gets very hot), and then pop it in, making sure you keep it straight as you push it into the machine. It then takes only a few seconds to work it's magic and everything comes out all shiny and laminated on the other side. One of the great things about laminating is that it makes everything look so much more vivid, and this was no exception - my classroom displays now pop with colour, to the point where even my most unobservant Year 11's have commented on how colourful my room looks - hurrah! Overall I'm really pleased with the product and can't think of any faults, and I've used it pretty heavily since I received it. It's also not very heavy, so it's easy to carry backwards and forward to work if needed.

Works like a dream
Small compact, light, sylish laminator. Does what it says on the the box. Laminates A4. Bargin price at £12.50, and comes with its own laminating pouches most unexpected! Heats up in just a few mins, Briliant for home use or the office. I bought to replace my Fellowes Mars A4. And I must say that this laminator is 100% better. E.g My Fellowes used to always crinkle my laminated items, where as so far this Texet Laminator has yet to do this. It has a smooth very quiet motor operation. Only had this laminator a short time but i'm very impressed so far. one small point does smell slightly when heating up but its not too offensive.

A perfect compact gadget for the home user
I love organising and labeling stuff in my house and I make my labels on the computer. Once printed, I cut and laminate them using regular laminating pouches. Up until now, I was using my home iron and an old pressing cloth to laminate the pouches ... but i realised that the results were less than satisfactory and it was taking far too long to do as well. This laminator was available at a reasonable price so I bought it. It has paid me back several times over since the purchase. It heats up fairly quickly and is very easy to use. Once cool, the appliance can be tucked away easily inside a shallow drawer. I have used it to create labels for domestic use including the drawers in my kids' wardrobes, my kitchen cupboards and my home office filing system. I have even created luggage tags for long-haul flights and I can tell you that the last laminated tags I created have lasted over three years and still going strong. If you have use of laminated prints, then I would say this is a very good purchase. It may not be best for heavy duty use but for the domestic user, it is perfect.

Great little laminator for home use. Easy to use. Always gives excellent results.
This is a nice, easy to use laminator. Just plug it in and wait for it to warm up (indicated by the green light coming on). Insert your paper inside a pouch, which come included (a nice touch), and then just feed it into the little machine (sealed end first). It then automatically feeds itself through the machine and comes out the other side, all sealed up, in about 10-20 seconds. No bubbles and crystal clear. (One small gripe; it would be nice if the power lead were a bit longer (it’s about 3 feet)). I’ve used A4 paper of varying thickness from 80-200gsm with pouches up to 160 microns (i.e. each side of the pouch is 80 microns), without any problems whatsoever. I’d say this is ideal for home use if you need to just do a few, however, while it’s certainly solidly enough made, if you’re planning on doing a lot of laminating on a regular basis, personally, I’d suggest seeking out something more heavy duty. This is a great little machine for home use, though. Recommended.

Simple, easy to use good Quality pedometer
After looking at loads of pedometers and reviews I decided to buy this one. As a walker I wanted an accurate one that would tell me how far I had walked, how many steps I had taken and how long it took me. This does all of those and accurately. I don`t need a really expensive one that does loads of stuff I don`t need. If I need to know how much sleep I have had I will look at the clock! This was delivered very quickly and I received an email from Tania in their customer support dept with useful information and 2 attached video clips. One to guide you through the setup procedure (which wasn`t in the least bit difficult) and another to guide you through the operating instructions, again it was so very simple! If you want a simple to use, easy to understand and accurate pedometer at a very reasonable price then get this one. Their customer support is excellent. Would recommend both the pedometer and the seller, no problem!

Great little laminator, simple to use and works well
Update - we're now on our second laminator as my wife has also given in to the addiction - I did warn you it's a slippery slope until everything you own is laminated. There's something immensely satisfying about laminating stuff - it's hard to explain until you start doing it, then it becomes an addiction. Recipes, signs for around the house and work, your child's artwork - soon you become engulfed by an all encompassing desire to laminate everything you print, It's potentially a slippery slope to an awful soul destroying addiction, but for now at least I am enjoying the ride. The Texet lamination is really easy to use. Only an on/off button and that's it for controls - just turn it on, let it get up to the correct heat then when you get the green light feed your stuff in and lovely laminated goodness comes out the other end. It couldn't be simpler to use and has worked flawlessly since I got it. In conclusion then, if you are after a cheap A4 laminator then this one is perfect. Just be warned that it could take over your life.

Does the job at a great price
Bought this mailny to laminate my grandaughters skiing certificates but had a wee play with other things when it arrived, (comes with 5 laminating pouches). Laminated one thing A4 size and another a bit smaller. Did both in A4 pouches supplied and both came out great. The smaller one was laminated right to the edge of the smaller bit of paper so nice wide border, (wasn't sure if it just did edges). A quick word of caution. It comes with a warning that it gets very hot, obviously but, the laminate comes out very hot as well. Cools very quickly but keep your own and small fingers well away from the bit nearest the machine. First edge through is fine to handle. For the price, excellent machine, why pay more if you just want to do occational laminating. Does exactly what it's designed to do and the skiing certificates look really good.
