Trixie Car Harness For Cats, 20-50 cm/15 mm, Red

My cat doesn’t like her box to travel in the car. So, I bought this to clip onto her harness when going out and about. This has saved her so much stress, she is quite happy to get comfy on one of the seats. This gives me so much more peace of mind when travelling with her, 100% recommend. The harness is sturdy, perfect for car use, the clip plugs in great, the clip which goes onto the harness is secure.

The item is very well made, and I thought it would be the perfect solution as Arthur gets so very upset when in the cat box en-route to vets, I thought I had tightened it enough on him, but as we got to the car he managed to wriggle out of it, and I have never seen him move so fast back down the drive. He ended up in his cat box again, poor thing. Trouble is when he sees the car he gets so worried that he is being taken back to the cat rescue centre where he was so very unhappy.

We had first not stressful journey with our cat. I was surprised but cat was not trying to take harness off. We let her wear it for a 10 min while playing with her day before at home and fed her treats after we took it off. We also let her explore car with harness on after we arrived to our destination and again gave her treats to make experience better. Product seems be well made. Price is great. They only thing is that leash could be a bit longer if one wants cat be able to sit on your laps. She managed but was a bit awkward.

Ok so the seatbelt part is brilliant - nice and sturdy, keeps cat on the back seat (and stops him going anywhere else). If this product had JUST been the seatbelt attachment, I would have given 5 stars.However, harness was awful. Ok, so it is well made and sturdy, but it does not fit at all. Does not seem made for a cat. The harness has two straps - neck and belly, and a padded chest pad that runs between the front legs (connecting the two straps underneath). The straps also connect at the shoulders (as shown in the picture). While having the padding is a good idea, it pulled the neck and belly straps far too close together. This resulted in the belly stap cutting in to the back of my cat's legs when he lay down, causing mild bruising (after a short car journey - about 20 mins, he became very sensitive when I touched the area to remove the harness). He also found it difficult to walk as it interfered with his leg movement. Tried loosening the neck strap so the belly stap could sit further back, but this just meant he could wriggle out of the harness - really ba for a car journey. If the harness had been by itself (ie no seatbelt part), then i would have sent it back and reviewed with one star.I bought a different (well fitting) harness to use with the seatbelt part, and have had no problems since.

I had a 'lead' to connect her harness to the safety belt, but it was very heavy. The harness with this set is much better than the one I had, and is much more secure. The 'lead' is supposed to be a standard fit, but does not fit my Hyundai, but I have managed to use the existing lead I had to the new one, till the sewing machine comes out and I can change the clip. Despite this set back I am happy with the quality of this harness and lead. And Tia loves being able to sit and look out of the window/lay down/ stretch on the car seat next to me.

I was looking for a seat belt so my growing Maine Coon wouldn't have to sit in a box while travelling short distances.This seemed to be what I was looking for and he sits quietly on the seat while I'm driving now, able to watch what is going on around him.I do keep the lead quite short so he's forced to sit down which means he doesn't get to look out of the car too much.My only two concerns about this seat belt is that it is the width of a seat belt which makes it chunkier on him than a normal harness which he doesn't seem to find comfortable, and also because it's plugged only into the seatbelt clasp there would be no "give" if the car were to stop suddenly like the top of our seat belts. This is a design issue which I hope might be improved in the future.

I ordered this for my cat, but I found it was too heavy for him. He is still a young cat and this harness was too bulky.

This is one of the coolest things I have ever bought for my cats, They travelled over an hour in the car with no journey sickness accidents. They escaped at first but I just tightened the harness and threatened them with the carrier and the rest of the journey went smoothly. My cats are large 5.6kg and 4.5kgI was not sure this was going to work but one of my cats really suffers when she is in the carrier so thought it was worth a shot for the money, and it turned out to be a great journey.

Me parece muy práctico ya que mi gato insiste en bajar a la calle y me da miedo que algún perro se le abalance para morderlo y con este arnés me siento más segura ya que en un momento dado puedo subirlo para arriba sin hacerle daño porque no aprieta el cuello tiene unas cintas robustas y aunque a mi gato no le gusta mucho a mí sí

Nel complesso sarebbe ottimo, prezzo contenuto, facile da mettere anche al gatto un po' reticente, si aggancia bene alla cintura di sicurezza. Ma la mia gatta se lo sfila se proprio non lo vuole! Ho provato a stringerlo di più ma dopo un po' si allenta e se lei è intenzionata a toglierselo si divincola fino a sfilarselo. C'è da dire che è ancora piccolina e per ora le va un po' grande. Riproveremo, perchè è veramente fatto bene e comodo. Metto 5 stelle perchè spero di utilizzarlo al meglio tra un po'

Da mir das Design der meisten Hundegeschirre, aufgrund des häufig weit hinten sitzenden D-Rings, nicht gefällt, dachte ich mir, dass ich es für meine kleine Hündin vielleicht mal mit einem Katzengeschirr versuchen sollte.Eine sehr richtige Entscheidung!Dieses Geschirr ist ausreichend längenverstellbar, kompakt und dabei absolut ausbruchssicher.Dazu kann man es, wie eigentlich vorgesehen, auch zur Sicherung im Auto verwenden.Fazit:Ich bin absolut begeistert und verstehe nicht, warum dieses Design nicht auch bei Hundegeschirre vorherrscht.Absolute Kaufempfehlung – sowohl für Katzen als auch kleine Hunde!
