Creamy Poly Nail Gel

Im new to poly gel so I assume its my fault. The poly gel is nightmarishly hard to work with! I was attempting to do dual forms and failed but I tried again the next day but I just did a simple overlay for the first time and honestly? It turned out great,i used their base coat and top coat and while it was a lot of work and time spent,I had managed to get a manicure that's sure to survive a week.im rough with my hands so that's awesome. Its bottles are small and its a learning curve but in my opinion I think its a decent product and if I get any better,will buy again. Their colors are pretty sheer so I guess it can be build up on? Im not taking off a star because I dont care that its jelly like in appearance,I was gonna paint over it anyway.

I really liked this PolyGel set. The colors are vibrant, beautiful, and look even better once applied. The consistency is smooth, easy to work with, and cures perfectly under the lamp. It’s a great kit for creating different styles, whether for beginners or professionals. Definitely worth it if you love doing nails.

I've used a lot of hybrid gel, and got this set because I like the brand and their low-HEMA products. I wanted to like their hybrid gel, and there are several good things about it, but ultimately this is a VERY sticky formula that does not firm up even if chilled. I even tried putting it in the refrigerator, a bowl of ice, and ultimately the freezer. (The freezer definitely ruined the texture of that tube, please don't try it.) As a low-cost, low-allergy formula, though, I think it's "just OK." The stickiness factor means it only works well in a dual form, and I prefer to sculpt with a nail form. When I try to do that, I go insane with how runny and sticky it can be, patting it over and over to try to get a good shape. Ultimately, I just cure it with lumps and file them, which takes more time. It works fine with dual forms, but I don't like them. Now, the good stuff. Low allergy formula, check - I had no reactions to this using it over a few months. I am very careful during application, but my fingers don't even get red. GREAT adhesion - no lifting, cured very well, files off easily. Low heat - I do have thin nails, and experienced no heat spikes with this formula. Excellent durability - I was able to fill after two weeks and continue wearing for two more. I'm rough on my hands, and even though I don't use my nails as tools, they are constantly in water and detergents. Held up very well. My only complaint is the stickiness. I do not think this is beginner-friendly unless you plan to only use dual forms for application. I will use these up, but I won't repurchase. I'm going to stick with my more expensive options, which have a stiffer, more spreadable formula that cuts application time in half (or more?!) because I can shape quickly, use very little slip solution (thus minimize flooding), and have very little filing to do after curing. I think this is a good product for the price point, but something has to suffer when using HEMA alternatives that are more expensive.

The colors do not match the description. They are a lot lighter than expected. I tried the gel that was supposed to be burgundy and it’s a blush pink.

Absolutely love the colors thought this would be a wonderful way to save money to get my nails done however, I am not a professional male tech. His product would be great for a professional nail tech that knows what they’re doing when using the product it just squishes out the sides and makes a big mess when you go to file the nail it breaks great idea not executed very well
