WELDTITE Carbon Gripper Assembly Paste for Bikes, Protects Carbon Components, 10 g

Promptly delivered and perfectly packaged. The gripper paste does exactly what is required of it. It is easy to apply. The Weldtite brand is well known so, as expected, it did the job perfectly. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants quality for the bicycle they own.

Having suffered repetitive sliding syndrome of the seat post of carbon steel tricycle, I tried gaffa tape, which was of temporary relief, until I learned of this anti slide gel.In all the videos about it, it is only used for carbon fibre bikes, but I came across one video which said it can be used for carbon steel. Bought it, applied it, (after abrading the post for ensured results) and IT WORKS! No more sliding down.

Very small tube for the money, but you'd have to be doing a lot of carbon fitting to use it all. Seems to work in holding my carbon seatpost within the carbon frame, but can be removed with ease when necessary.

I liked that I didn't have to purchase a massive tube. I used this to help secure a carbon seat post. The spec gave a maximum torque of 7Nm, I only went with 5.5Nm plus the gripper paste and it seems to have worked, so happy with that

Fantastic for reducing chances of over-torquing while still getting a comfortable, safe and secure grip that also prevents corrosion and water/dirt ingress.

Works well on Carbon, but advise getting the larger tube, small one is very small.

This tube appeared to have previously been opened .there was no seal on the tube and very little in the tube itself. Can not be arsed in disputing this or sending it back as was an urgently needed item . Which does work as intended however.

Brilliant product. I use this on alloy and carbon seat posts, stems and handle bars and stops slipping and creaking whilst protecting those areas.
