Easy to use
I have had these for a while now and have had no problems using them. I did wonder how good they would be after reading some of the veiws especially relating to the battery compartment cover coming off easily. I haven't had a problem with that, it stays firmly in place even after it dropped on the floor.I also noticed that a review mentioned that if they don't have power then they loose pairing to the remote, I have hust checked one of mine that hasn't been plugged in for a few months and even when is used is only infrequently used and that remembered the pairing no problems. All in all this is a good product especially for the price.

I can't believe I'd never heard of these before, they've been a game changer for the Christmas tree lights. No more crawling under the tree!!

Works OK but .....
Spent an age trying to get it to work. Finally discovered that both batteries were totally dead, & had to buy fresh ones. So clearly very old stock - beware!

Works very well in a hostile environment
I bought this kit to use in my hobbyist metal-workers workshop, and it surpassed my expectations. One is attached to an instant-on compressor for blowing dust away and the other a nodding donkey power hacksaw. However, that's not important to you if you're just looking for a couple of remote control power sockets. What I would say is that I've been using these for a while now in the garage where they are constantly plugged in, unplugged, moved around, knocked and assaulted by oily gloves. The remote control and the sockets keep on working. What has been particularly pleasing is that since pairing the remote with the sockets, the sockets have remembered "their button" even if they have been unplugged for a couple of weeks. I thought I would have to re-pair each time but have been pleasantly surprised that they just work again when plugged in.

battery issue
Item was good quality ,only problem i have batteries for the remote was corroded so had to buy replacement batteries.
