3000k is the best colour
The Ultra Efficent bulbs have weird hues.2700k looks too Orange.3000k looks slightly Yellow.4000k look too Green.I've tried all 3 and the 3000k is the closest match to the old 8w (60w equivalent) 2700k Philips bulbs to my eyes.Try before you buy for the whole house!

Bought this as a reading light, it is a very warm, homely light which also looks incredible! would reccomend for anyone looking for a bulb for a lamp to make a house feel like a home

No different from 2700K eqivalent
We bought these because the 2700K equivalents from Philips we bought for £6 (pack of 2) in Toolstation were too yellow. Upon testing one of these 3000K bulbs in a dark room it turns out they are absolutely no different in colour temperature yet cost 3 times more! Not recommended.
