Rat Expeller
Had a few unwanted visitors in the loft and wanted them gone. Called a pest controller and come across this device. Couldn't install the plug in ones as no power in the loft. Bought this device as had nothing to loose. Had to buy 2 9V batteries as well (which are not cheap) popped it in the loft and wait and see. Rats gone, but not sure if it was the bait or the repeller. Time will tell.

Takes a week to evacuate them but EFFECTIVE
Does anyone have inventors details? Need to buy them the best drink ever. Tried few products before, no real results, thought here we go again as them pesties got noisier but have completely evacuated after a week of protest. If only I could give this product 300 stars! Comes without batteries so order at same time, no regrets 🐀👠🥿👡

Doesn't work
This does not work for me. I have it in the loft and it does not deter the rats they are scratching right next to it and nesting. The sound waves it sends out get absorbed by the surroundings which is not helpful however mine is in an open loft area so shouldn't soak up that much sound. I have had this in place for a few weeks now and it hasn't made any difference.

Rodent deterant
Seems to be doing a good job. No issues as yet. Small enough and easy to assemble.

Very effective
The house suddenly had a lot of night-time scuffling, chewing and droppings, so I ordered one of these mains-free repellers. I put it down in my mother's room the day it arrived, and I also bought a different brand plug-in device for the lounge to deter mice from getting in through the fireplace. (I will dot a few other brands around the house as well this week, so no mice ever get comfortable.) Some mice seem to have been dislodged, so it looks like at least one of the two repellers is working. The cats brought us more dead mice than usual the day I put the devices down. I suspect some mice have pups and will take time to leave. I'm happy to see that the sound doesn't trouble the cats one bit. The leaflet with one of the repellers, I forget which it was, said that cats can't hear it.So far I have the following feeling about this device:No surprise if mice with babies stay to raise them.No surprise if the place immediately gets lots of mice running around, they probably come out of their nests because of the noise. No surprise if hungry little mice just block their ears and go for bait, if there is any bait nearby. No surprise if mice get used to the sound after a while.I'll update in September or so, because either this was an amazingly fast result, or there are more mice lurking in the wall cavities.Update in September: Looks like we got an amazingly fast result. No mice in the house now, so I moved the battery repeller to the shed, where there's no electricity, about a month ago. No mice in the shed either, not that I ever saw any in the first place. On the down side, the little frog that I saw a few times in the shed seems to have moved out.

Not sure it is working
I have now been using this device for the last month or so, in the attic, as we seem to have a rodent issue.. I know that it is on because a little red light does flash intermittently. However, it has done little to stop the rodents from coming back. It might be working and reducing the amount of time that they are in the attic, but I cannot honestly tell whether this is the case, It is a lot of money to spend without any material physical results being shown as of yet, but I will persevere in case it just takes a longer period for them not to come back. The device is very easy to use, as you simply put the batteries in, and it is ready to go, and it is portable as it is relatively small in size

Rats Eek!
The media could not be loaded. I wanted this for outdoor use near bird feeders. I've had to improvise a weather shield as it's not protected.A rat has visited, so discouragement is the first step. Cheap enough to try. I've a stockpile of PP3 to get through.
