Curver Metal Effect Plastic One Touch Deco Bin, Red, 40 Litre

Great Bin, this was a really good bargain as I managed somehow to pick it up in the Black Friday Sale, but I have had This Bin before and am very pleased with it, hence getting another one. When one of the springs that operate the lid disappeared I tried to replace the spring but could not find out the right information at the time, and with this one being so cheap I bought a new one, the old one I am now using in my Conservatory for Recycling. I like this bin because you do not have to touch it other than the top front edge which is nowhere near the inside or bin liner which is all enclosed within the bin, so it is a very Hygenic Bin to use, it is definitely easy to use, and easy to keep clean. The surface which is Polished Stainless Steel that Guarantees no marks or fingerprints left on it when touched is absolutely true and it is one of the Best Bins I have ever had, I would strongly recommend this Bin to everyone who has a Bin in their kitchen as it is Hygenic and Germ Free as you do not have to touch the Inside of the Bin at all, it is a simple tap on the top of the Bin and the Lid opens into a Wide Opening and then if need be use an elbow to shut it again, it is one of the Cleanest and Nicest looking bin you could have in your kitchen, has a flat back and looks anything but a Bin. It really is a must, I would even say in a Care or Nursing Homes where you are dealing with items that you do not want anyone else to touch, this Bin would be ideal for that sort of situation as you do not have to touch it with your hands at all, and your hands do not come in contact with the contents of the bin.

After much internet perusal for a cheap yet functional silver kitchen bin that could take a bit of stick from the kids I thought I'd give this one a go after reading all the customer reviews - at this time of writing there's 369 4 and 5 star reviews out of 430 which isn't bad at all.So thank you everyone!This reviewing lark does work! :)I have bin through (groan) loads of bins over the years and have paid a fortune for fancy looking ones and a lot less for bins that were better than the all singing and dancing ones. This one looks expensive . . .but it isn't!The bin arrived well packaged and protected in a nice big box. I have uploaded a few photos to show the bin - lid mechanism - bag holder - with a bag in.No need to put anything together as it comes as one piece and it's dead easy to replace the bin bags inside.It's all plastic but well made and lightweight- measuring 26 inches high and 11 inches wide at the base- with the lid open it measures 35.5 inches high- It's flat at the back so will fit flush against a wallThe design for holding your bin bags in place is spot on and very simple to use. The bin has a 40 litre capacity and has a touch control lid.That's it!In use it's brilliant in my experience. The bin bags are held in place really well by the removeable plastic inner ring. I use 50 litre bags so there is a bit of overhang which is not a problem for me - I could tuck it all in neatly if I wanted to of course.The touch lid works very well - just a light press and it smoothly opens in a few seconds. Just a light press down and click and it's shut and the opening is well enough to put your rubbish - bits of food waste - tea bags - coffee filter papers etc into.My kids like to 'ram' the kitchen bin solid with rubbish rather than empty it and replace the bag and leave it to me to fight to get the bag out! But they have been emptying this one as it is a clean and easy operation down to the bag being held in place well by the inner ring. It just makes life that little bit easier!It's easy to wipe clean too!If anybody asked me to recommend a kitchen bin I wouldn't hesitate in mentioning this one. A great buy in my opinion.

These are great bins. I bought two ... one of rubbish and one for recycling which both sit in my kitchen. The stainless steel is an easy wipe clean. The push-to-open lid is very easy to operate and appears to be of a good build quality and doesnt look likely to fail any time soon. The bins themselves are a lot narrower than I imagined them to be (having not seen them in the flesh before they arrived). It can happily accomodate a standard bin bag, however due to the narrowness it doesnt take much for it to fill up quickly. When the bags are then removed there is still a considerable space for more in the bag ... hence 4 stars.

Looks smart and sturdy

Firstly, I was in the market for a new bin and had looked at some of the choices on Amazon. Amazon.co.uk, and its wonderful customer activity algorithm, alerted me via email that this bin, that I had looked at, had been reduced in price to £20.12. I do not recall its price when I first looked at it, save to say that I knew that at this price I was getting a good deal. Therefore, I did not hesitate to purchase it and take myself out of the market for a bin.It looks good. The metallic silver effect gives the bin a modern appearance. I was worried about the open mechanism working well or even working at all upon receiving the bin, due to some of the more negative reviews. However, upon arrival, and till now (having had the bin for a few weeks) the mechanism has worked well without any problems.I was initially looking for a bin for general household waste. However, I have decided to switch my bins. I now use my previous recycling bin for general household waste and I use this bin for recycling. Given its weight (it is very light), it seems appropriate for recycling.However, presumably because it is used for recycling, the liner does get filled very fast as this bin is quite slender.Changing the liner is quite easy if a little cumbersome when compared to your standard bins. Such is the price of style perhaps. I realize that “style” when referring to a bin is unusual. However, this bin is certainly stylish when compared to your standard bins.Regarding replacing the liner, you simply pull out the plastic unit, that is there to hold the liner in place, and replace it once you have put the new liner in the bin. You then adjust the excess plastic of the liner until (as I prefer) none of it is visible when you cover it with the top of the bin.

Price/quality ratio is great. Big bin, decent look, cheap price. The click-lid works just fine - not exceptional but not problematic at all. At this price one cannot expect perfection.

Hoy comentamos este cubo de basura, del cual tengo que decir que es el segundo de este tipo que tenemos en un tiempo, ya que nos encanta lo funcional que es.👍A FAVOR👍1.Tiene una capacidad más que suficiente para una familia.2.No se mancha fácilmente y es muy fácil de limpiar.3.La apertura presionando la tapa e muy cómoda, antes tuvimos otro que tenía la apertura en el pie y acabo partiéndose el mecanismo de apertura.4.Las bolsas de basuras quedan totalmente ocultas, ya que con el embellecedor acaban tapadas totalmente.👎EN CONTRA👎1. El embellecedor de plástico donde se sostiene la bolsa y oculta el filo de la misma para que no se ve, esta unido al cubo por un pequeño filo de plástico el cual parece bastante débil, a ver lo que dura, si se rompe con el tiempo lo haré constar en la opinión.🤷‍♂️CONCLUSIÓN🤷‍♂️Si quieres un cubo con capacidad, que no se manche fácilmente y sea fácil de limpiar, así como que sea bonito y no quede feo en la cocina, este es tu cubo. Was den Kauf von Mülleimern betrifft, war ich in der Vergangenheit eher anspruchslos. Nach dem Motto: Hauptsache, der Müll landet in der dafür vorgesehenen Tonne. Dabei war Mülltrennung und -reduzierung immer schon ein Thema für mich. Entsprechend besaß ich mehrere Billigeimer ohne jeden Charme. Das ist mit Beginn dieses Jahres nun endlich anders, seit ich diesen neuen Curver-Mülleimer besitze Ich nutze ihn für den Müll, welcher gesammelt in die gelbe Tonne wandert. Der Mülleimer funktioniert dafür sehr gut und sieht dabei toll in meiner Küche aus. Seine Qualität lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Zwei weitere kleinere Mülleimer komplettieren nun mein Mülltrennsystem - übersichtlich und passend. Endlich hat Mülltrennung ein schönes Gewand erhalten.

Bella esteticamente e funzionale! Non occupa molto spazio e si adatta molto bene a vari tipi di angoli o pareti.. Il coperchio superiore è comodo ma usatelo con parsimonia senza essere rudi!

Proprio comodo e funzionale! L’apertura con lo scatto è praticissima e molto più Robusta di quella a pedale (è già il secondo che acquisto così...)
