Great pocket knife
These victorinox multi knives are just as good now as they always have been, excellent quality, wide selection to get the tools you need in one knife. Yes they’re more expensive than other brands but they stand out from other brands, still the original and the best.

So handy!
I'll start with the negatives, because there aren't many...1. The hook tool is really difficult to get out - I nearly break my nail every time. This isn't a major issue though, because..2. I have no idea what the hook tool would be useful for anyway - carrying parcels wrapped with string apparently, but how often is that an issue in your day to day life?3. The most annoying thing with this knife is that there is an included pin hole for a flat headed pin (very useful for sim cards, reset buttons, small splinters etc.) but NO PIN - why?!! You can buy one separately for over £3 (for a tiny pin!) but could also just find one in a sewing box or in that old jar of miscellaneous nails in your garage - that's my plan but I haven't got round to it yet and I could have used a pin twice in the last week. The good bits...It's just so handy. I use the small blade all the time for opening amazon parcels (keeping the larger blade nice and shiny and sharp for special occasions!), the scissors for, well, everything you need scissors for (and now you have a pair in your pocket!) the 3 screwdrivers for all my screwing needs and although the bottle opener hasn't been used yet, we're nearing BBQ season so it'll come into it's own then. I dream of our tin opener breaking so I can come to the rescue with the can opener, and I just know I'm going to be in a life or death pruning/wood chopping situation at some point where I can whip out the saw blade.I love having it in my pocket at all times, and that's the main reason why I bought it - it's legal in the UK as it's a non locking blade under 3 inches. I was previously using a leatherman skeletool for parcel opening, minor screwing etc. but as that has a locking blade I had to be careful not to take it out of the house with me, this one can go on my keys or just in my pocket and never leave my side. I'm ready for anything! Also, it's Victorinox so you know it's excellent quality and good value. You won't regret having one of these in your life!

Great quality, reliable multitool that actually works! This is not cheap junk!
Got a multitool knife for a camping trip as a kid. Rubbish. Thought they all were (unless you paid a fortune), until I tried a Victorinox.I've had this knife for over two years now, and it has proved to be unbelievably useful for various tasks, in and outdoors. All of the tool work! I was amazed at the quality and functionality of all of them.Choose a model with the tools (and size), you think most useful, and go for it. You won't regret it.

Stop looking and buy! - Swiss Army Knife Fieldmaster Officer (SAK)
This Swiss Army Knife Fieldmaster Officer (SAK) is the dog's danglies . Purchased at a cost of £22.26 in the latter part of January 2020, I could not be more pleased. Typically I carried a Leatherman Wave as my choice of Everyday Carry (EDC), which in suit or formal trousers is a bit heavy on the pocket or sticks out far too much. I therefore took the advice of a friend and got this SAK, my single and only previous SAK went MIA 15-20 years ago.The SAK arrived loose inside a small grey cardboard box. Maybe Victorinox could have added a bit of padding or a cardboard fold to keep it in place, thus no premium feel here. The item is made from stainless steel and plastic, a stamp on the main blade proves this. There are 15 functions including the toothpick and micro tweezers. I ordered this model specifically as it came with scissors and Phillips headed screwdriver. The SAK feels well made with a good bit of force required to close away individual tools, ideal for when cutting things with the knife.Best of all and as it currently stands, this SAK is UK legal carry, since the blade is non locking and the cutting edge is less than 3 inches. Though, please check for yourself as things do change depending on time of purchase. In summary, get one for your EDC.p.s for reference each square on my green cutting mat is 10mm x 10mm.
