Trusted brand & vet recommended. Better price than they charge though!
Recommend by the vet for long term support to aid one of my cats with a particular problem. Do be careful when buying online that you are not getting fake goods though, as according to my vet these kinds of branded item are often copied. Luckily for me, these checked out with the manufacturer.

A life saver
My dog was diagnosed with liver failure in March 23. She'd been a bit off since January 23 and had been having what I came to realise were focal seizures. This was misdiagnosed several times and by the time her bloods were taken in March, her liver markers were over 1000. My dog was dying, no doubt about it, and the vet told me to get ready to say goodbye and to get in touch with the home euthanasia vet. I was devastated. The vet put her on steroids (2x2 a day) and another vet recommend the denamarins and I put her on CBD oil 5mg. I also started her on a homemade diet of diced sweet potato, butternut squash, carrot, broccoli and kale with white rice and either chicken, turkey or an oily fish. I read all the reviews on amazon and saw one from someone saying they switched from denamarins to Maxxipaws Sam-e and Denes Milk Thistle/Dandelion root. The denamarins are big and have to be given an hour before food and although this product undoubtabley helped her survive that first few weeks, as soon as I switched to the two other products I saw a marked improvement- something of her old self returned. We are now 3 months on and she is doing so well! She gets tired and isn't totally her old self but is back to chasing her ball (which I never thought I see again) having longer walks and is a very contented dog. We've had some precious times together and I'm so grateful for this. The steroids have been reduced to 1/4 twice a day, and I also give her hepatic dog food but she is still mainly on the homemade diet and all the supplements. I know these saved her life and wanted to post this all here in case anyone else finds themselves in my position. I should also say that since she started the cbd oil she hasn't has a single seizure so I also recommend trying that. Wishing you and your dog well.

It worked for my dog
Over a 6-month period my 8 year old dog had lost her zip and walking had become difficult as she would run out of energy after around 15 minutes. We took her to the vets and long story short they detected an issue with her liver, which thankfully wasn't cancer. The vets recommended Denamarin which she has now been on for 3 weeks and I am impressed by the results. After the first week she had got a lot of her energy back being able to manage 45 minute walks, by the end of the second week she had a real spring back in her step with occasional bursts of speed and now after 3 weeks she's back to her normal annoying self, chasing foxes and rabbits. Highly recommended. The only downside is the cost as it looks like she will need to be on this supplement going forward but it's worth it to have my dog back fit and happy.

Cheaper than your rip off vet
My vets prescribed these for my cat but wanted £41 - this product is identical to the one they prescribed so bargain.

Denamarin has made such a difference
I have a 14 year-old Siberian Husky, in recent months she lost a considerable amount of weight - 32kg > 24kg, the vet diagnosed liver problems. Her liver is not diseased, it is just not functioning 100% anymore due to old age. He recommended Denamarin as a supplement to boost her liver function. After just two days of double dosing her (with the vet's approval) she was literally a different dog. She went from lethargic, hardly eating and looking very sorry for herself back to being her normal self. We are now about three weeks into the first box of 30 tablets, she has regained about 1kg in weight, is eating well and up for two decent walks a day. The difference in her is remarkable - needless to say the tablets are on repeat order! These tablets seem to have improved her liver function no end - stress again, her liver is not diseased, just wearing out due to old age. Cannot speak highly enough of these excellent tablets.

Not for us- watch out for allergies
I bought these tablets under the instruction of my vet when my boy was poorly from pancreatitis and which involved his liver so these tablets are to reduce the inflammation from his liver. These tablets on Amazon are cheaper than from the vet even though they are very very expensive. I’ve heard good things about these tablets and that it’s turned the dogs liver values around very quickly. I would say it’s good value for money if you can afford it and improves the liver values, but I do believe they probably don’t cost as much to make as what they are selling them for.Unfortunately, my dog suffers with allergies specifically hayfever and has been known to come out in red blotches with certain plants. They active ingredient in these tablets are milk thistle which is a herb/weed. Upon him having just the one dose he broke out severely itching and red paws so obviously he’s allergic to this so please be aware when you are buying that if your dog suffers from hayfever type allergies, this medication may not be for him. I had the same type of flareup with the Gastro Elm.
