White Vinegar - 4 litre

I used this to soak and then wash items of clothing which had been smoke damaged after a house fire. I thought I would have to throw everything away but after soaking in water with a cup of this white wine vinegar and soda crystal theN put through the washing machine they came out smelling fresh and clean. Highly recommend this. Use it in water to clean my windows too. nxcellent product and good value when bought in this size compared to a small spray bottle from a well known high street store.

Read about this on internet and it’s many uses so bought some for general cleaning. I diluted it in a spray bottle with water ( half and half) then added some lemon juice to dissipate the smell as it is very strong. Best to work with windows in room open slightly as otherwise the smell may linger. Ideal to clean my shower screens in bathroom they come up really clean. Also excellent for cleaning your windows no smears or marks left. Can also pour it into toilet leave a while before flushing and it cleans the scale that builds up. A good general purpose cleaning agent.

Described as white but don't be fooled buyers it is actually colourless! However it smells like vinegar, it cuts through grease like vinegar, cleans and disinfects like vinegar in fact I'm convinced it is vinegar! Thoughtfully contained in a practical flagon type container which is artfully designed with a screw-on lid which removes conveniently to allow the user to dispense useable quantities as required. I ask you what's not to like?

A fantastic product which is so versatile for multiple cleaning purposes around the home. I mainly use it mixed with baking soda to form a paste and then painted onto bathroom tiles and grout to get them clean and white without scrubbing. Also as a hygiene aid and fabric softener alternative in the washing machine. There are many other possible uses around the home, however for me, the smell is not very pleasant, so I don't tend to utilise it as fully as I could. I understand it also makes a wonderful weed killer, however I'm not really one for gardening so haven't tried it myself! The bottle arrived with the lid securely taped up and then wrapped and boxed, so no leaks, which was great. Being so bulky, I decanted a bit into a measuring jug and then poured into a spray bottle for more manageable day to day use. On a side note, with regards to this particular "Bird Brand" vinegar, it should be noted that it is labelled "not for culinary use".

Bought this as I could not find the brand that I had bought previously from a local Oriental Supermarket. No problems with the cleaning abilities (have yet to try it out as weed killer - I am sure it will do the job admirably) but I must admit that, in comparison with my usual brand, I find the smell rather too strong for my liking. Sensitive soul me..

I use a humidifier pretty consistently, which means I have to clean it every week otherwise it gets gross and mildew-y. I read online that white vinegar is the best thing to clean your humidifier with, so I bought this huge container of white vinegar for that purpose. And it works great! It's lasted me a long time and isn't weirdly watered down or diluted the way some other brands are.

I've been trying to be more 'green' and use fewer chemical cleaning products, which are all about fragrance and fancy packaging, not to mention the environmental damage. This vinegar is a cheap and cheerful product, and can be used for washing windows and surfaces. I also use it in the washing machine instead of a commercial fabric conditioner. In a hard water area, just a couple of tablespoons worth in the fabric conditioner drawer, is enough to soften the water, and you don't get a smell of vinegar on the clothes.

I was shopping around for some white vinegar after reading some online articles on it's many uses. Found this to be the best value on Amazon and was not disappointed. The item turned up quickly from the supplier and was well packaged, the top was even taped down to ensure no spillage. This is the third quantity of white vinegar and have found this smells slightly less than others. Well worth the money and does the trick for all those home remedy applications including white vinegar.
