NESTI DANTERomantica, Florentine Rose & Peony Soap 250 g

I was impressed with the size of the product, it barely even fit on my soap dish! The scent of the product is beautiful, it would be a good unisex scent as it is slightly masculine but still soft and floral. It left my skin nice and soft with a nice scent that lasted long after use. I would highly recommend if you like anything lilac scented like myself.

If you want to reduce the amount of plastic you use and ditch those bottles of shower gel then this is the way to go. This soap is simply gorgeous. It smells great, lathers well and leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. I use it as bath soap rather than hand soap as it's a big bar. I'll use it as hand soap when it shrinks a bit and then buy myself a different fragrance for the shower rather than try to cut it in half. That way I'll get to sample yet another beautiful fragrance. The packaging is lovely (contains NO PLASTIC) and I'm going to buy more as gifts. Highly recommended for discerning soap lovers.

Lovely perfume for an occasional treat but too expensive to buy on a regular basis. The bar is quite big - too big to use comfortably and so I cut it in half, but in so doing I lost a fair bit of it due to crumbling. So really it would be better if it was a smaller bar to begin with at a much lesser cost.

I can say only good things about the Rose and Peony soap: good value, bath sized (I have halved it for the wash basin), lathers well, has not gone soggy, is lasting well and, above all, has a wonderful perfume - not overpowering, but definitely a lovely, subtle scent as you wash your hands. This is what I want from a soap. I have been happy in the past to pay more than this for a quality soap, and am delighted now to have discovered Nesti Dante. Thoroughly recommended.

The fact that these (I bought 3 varieties) are big 250g bars means that I can use them for showering body washes. Smaller bars just slip away and take ages to cover the body and foam easily. These chappies are great and the arty packaging makes them cute to display in the bathroom while they wait to be consumed. We have a quest to eliminate all plastic packaging and the bathroom is a key target so block soaps, shampoos, pastes etc are very welcome as are bamboo toothbrushes. My wife also says that when she washes with body gels the slime feel is over bearing and most of the liquid falls off your hand before it gets anywhere near your body. One of these bars lasts well over a month and when it gets smaller then it is shipped off to the kitchen for hand wash so we don't use plastic push soap bottles there too.We feel good knowing that we have already saved 49 turtles and a blue whale plus 1,873 herring.

The most beautiful soap I have ever bought. Scent is just wonderful and scents the whole bathroom. Leaves skin soft and fragranced. Beautiful soap. No other soap for me now.
