I took on board the comments by other reviewers, and tried it on my cat, who has had gastric problems for months, due to stress (!) over a stray cat that is hanging around. She really went for the taste, and is now more enthusiastic over her food, doesn't waste it now like she used to , also is more settled and content, sleeps well and is making less mess in the litter tray.

First off, if your cat has persistent gut issues like diarrhoea, don’t shrug it off - ask your vet for a sample jar, take a poop sample (I know) and pay for a fecal sample analysis. It’s not a cheap test but after 18 months of believing our cat ‘just had a dodgy tum’ it turned out she in fact had Cryptosporidium and needed a fortnight of antibiotics!That said, this stuff was great in helping prevent the worst of the diarrhoea while we were waiting for the test results. The vet gave me gave 10 sachets herself and when we ran out, I got a boxful as the results were so good. It is very expensive stuff and I couldn’t afford to give all of our cats a daily sachet each but it’s really worth using if you’re seeing any gut issues though again, please always have persistent gut issues investigated. Another great useage of this stuff is disguising tablets - grind up your tablet, add Fortiflora, then add a little water and bingo - you have a very tasty gravy that even picky eaters will wolf down. Nothing is a substitute for a fecal analysis, but this is terrific stuff and every cat home should have a box of this stored, even as an occasional treat, your cats will really appreciate it.

This item is good for my cat sometimes she gets a dicky tummy and this probiotic puts her right in a week this is my second packet i always have a spare packet in case I need it .

My cat was having digestive issues and I thought this might help. Unfortunately it did not change anything in regards to the gross poop, but the cat really did like the flavour and always finished their food with it sprinkled on top. I imagine it has done them good, or at least no harm, but really it is very expensive for what it is. I have sinced changed my cat to a grain free diet and this seems to have helped. May help for other mild issues but in this case it didn't.

My cat has IBS and so her motions are often loose. As she is getting older I worry about weight loss and the effect this will have on her health. Then I read somewhere about probiotics for cats.I take probiotics myself (I have IBS as well, including bloating) and I couldn't live without them. Was a bit sceptical at first about IBS in cats being the same as humans, but I thought I'd give it a go.Within three days her motions were so much better. She seems much brighter, too. Weight has improved.The sachets of powder is easy to use by sprinkling on top of her normal food. At first I mixed it in but now I just sprinkle it on top as she likes the taste. No problems there at all. One a day from a box of 30.The cost is quite expensive but in terms of the increase in my cat's health, it's a steal. Highly recommended for cats with tummy problems.

Have 3 house cats who have just had a bout of gastroenteritis, for 3 days there was terrible stomach upset from all 3. I went through 2 whole probiotic paste's in the syringe/tubes with absolutely no effect, trying to get all 3 to take 2ml twice a day was a challenge! I saw this product online & by changing their food to Purina gastrointestinal meat with their dry biscuits it worked a treat, I sprinkled the contents of 1 sachet into the 3 bowls of meat twice a day with a small amount of boiled rice & dry biscuits & the stools firmed up within 24-36 hrs. I will now always keep a box of this product on hand.

i have 6 year old Persian cat who has IBC and has for most of her life was on steroids but didnt help she has just started her second box and she is so much better tummy more settled and near normal toilet her coat is amazing so pleased i tried these one happy cat and owner

Recommended by the vet for our 12 year old rescue cat. It is mixed into his wet food. As a product it does what it is supposed to do.Disappointing delivery timescale. It was due 3 days ago and I’m still waiting.
