Tombow Fude Brush Pen, Fudenosuke, Flexible (GCD-112) ×5 set

I bought these to use as a permanent pen so I could draw on lino for printmaking. The ink does not dry and smudges very easily. The printing ink I use to create my linocuts is water soluble so I needed a pen that I could use so the so design will stay on after every colour is washed off, but as these are not water resistant these pens are not fit for purpose. Not even water resistant after use on paper.

This pen was truly amazing. It arrived very quickly enabling me to start my work as soon as possible. The ink is jet black which I wanted and doesn’t bleed through a lot of different types of paper. The tip is flexible which is great for lettering and calligraphy. I have used it on a lot of pieces of mine and the ink does last quiet a long time. I would definitely recommend it to people who do lettering or just people who love stationary in general.

Much softer than I was expecting and barrel did not feel as I expected.

The Tombows are absolutely my favourite brushpens: they are flexible, but also have a bit of stiffness to them. Wonderful product and delivered fast

Ok but not amazing. Have yet to find my perfect brush pen! I get quite a lot of resistance when doing upward strokes which is usually less common with fabric tips however as these are nylon they are a lot more durable. Not much difference between strokes when varying pressure and has a medium-wet stroke but do the job

These pens were recommended to me by my teacher when i began learning modern calligraphy. They are great as you get the narrow upstrokes and the thicker downstrokes with these. Highly recommended and great value.
