I purchased this item to remove some superglue from our Car's dashboard. It had been on there for over a year and was rock solid. It looked like the owners of the car had used it to hold a satnav/phone holder. The glue was in one area of the dashboard but was about the size of two 50ps.We'd tried a number of 'superglue' removers etc but sadly nothing shifted it. This, on the other hand, got it off and didn't damage the cars interior.Now, it SAYS removes within 30 seconds... lol Don't listen to that. It took a few hours or applying, reapllying etc and came off after about 6-7 applications.If I were you I'd apply a generous helping of it onto the glue and leave it for an hour and wipe away. Is it still there? Apply again and leave for another hour or two. After a while the glue will start feeling tacky. Try to use a soft object to lightly scrape it away with (An old loyalty/bank card for e.g). and then reapply. Continue to do this and the super glue will eventually come off. I am so angry with myself not to have taken before and after photos.

Works most of the time. I'm always getting superglue on my fingers and I hate the feeling of it that I can't stop scrubbing and picking until it's gone, which is why I got this. I have found that just putting it on and leaving it for 30 seconds like suggested, it does get rid of the glue but you may need to apply more than once.This hasn't worked very reliably on surfaces for me though, say you get a drop on your desk and haven't noticed it until it's already dried (a few hours later, or longer) then it doesn't get rid of it. I'm not sure if it's supposed to, though. If you do it immediately or pretty soon afterwards though, it does at least reduce the residue of it even if it doesn't get rid of the whole lump of glue.

Worked well to get super glue off car paint and plastic mirror housing without damage. Be aware you need to leave this to work for a long time, take a layer of glue off and combine with mechanical removal (I used a plastic scraper), then repeat. Took about an hour total, don't assume that this will solve your problem in 30 seconds like the bottle says.

Did not like the way it is applicable to the area

Excellent product. I mistakenly dropped gorilla glue on the worktop. Popped this on for 30 mins, it wiped away like it was never there. Fantastic.

Its not a fast fix on established glue deposits. I needed it to remove a glue dribble off a PVCu window. Art of it is to put it over the old glue and leave it to soak in. We did it for 24 hours and washed off with soapy water. Worked a treat. The question about adhesion is pointless as you don't want adhesion. When applied you can rub the chemical off with your fingers - and they do not stick together. Now the problem is I passed the bottle on to a colleague and its gone missing.... stolen to be used by others lol.......

Not very good turned the plastic on my bike white and didn't get the adhesive off either
