Very simple, very nice, very easy to run out of bread

Great item for toasties to go in a Dulait toaster

I tested making a toasted cheese sandwich and it was a bit faffy on the first go. First you have to wrestle with the bread being buttered on the outside. With a sandwich toaster you just place the bottom slice on the toasting plate and build your sandwich on there. Easy. I didn't think of that with the cage though. I built it on a plate so I ended up having to wrestle a floppy buttered sandwich into the cage which was never going to end well. One side of the cage does open out by about 90' so maybe i can build it in the cage next time. Next, if you are only making one sandwich then you will probably need to take the cage out and turn it around half way through or you'll likely end up with he "inside" side being burned. Especially if you use medium sliced bread and not well known supermarket thinly sliced breads. They are probably fine. I just haven't tested one yet. I'm not sure how easy it will be to clean the cage though. If any melted cheese drops in to the cage and gets into the hinges then it could take a little bit of time. I'm glad I got these though. 2 cages for about a tenner is decent value to add additional functionality to the toaster and it is a hell of a lot easier than dragging the sandwich toaster out of the cupboard

Adds versatility to your toaster. Useful for making lightly toasted sandwiches in most makes of toaster. Cheese fillings are not fully melted though, which some may find disappointing.

Please buy the toaster, buy these and cook on slow and have a truly yummy old style toasted sandwich!! This range and make are unbelievable, highest recommendation fir this outstanding high quality, stylish, easy clean, brillaint make!! Love it soooooo much!!!!!!

This item is very useful for my lovely Dualit toaster and there are 2 of them. Makes a very nice cheese toaster.

Had to return item as the Dualit toaster was no good, just burnt the toast so returned.
