Very simple to connect with the mains to 12V transformer. Good tight connection in the existing cutout and bright down-focused light stream.

These down lights have been installed under a canopy on my bar, in the back garden. I've used the shower rated items as these are fully waterproof. They have been installed for three years now and they haven't been replaced, or have major damage. The silver coating on two of the lights has started to blister. These lights are nice and bright and I would recommend them to anyone.

Perfect fit from the old one however unlike the old one the bulb is a fixture and can’t be replaced. I think this is a step backwards.

Fitted and worked great.

But for this purchase on-line I think we would have struggled to get adequate replacements without doing a rebuild.We moved into our current house a couple of years ago and these kind of lights had been used, so we discovered, in the main bedroom in the built-in bed surround to provide illumination over the head rest. Two of these lightbulbs went a few months ago and so when we found these exact duplicates we were pleased and obviously they have fitted exactly.

I bought this as a replacement for an identical one I bought a year ago. The original fitting lasted 9 years, this one only one year. Perfect fit and good light but not long lasting.
