Love this stuff! Great product and price
I don’t use anything else! This product works great and really brightens up my hair to a vivid bright red. This needs to be used correctly so please follow the instructions. I mix mine with 30 volume as I have dark hair but please get professional advice! Great price and a great product

Amazing stuff. With developer will turn any hair red!
This stuff is amazing, so effective, I never imagined my dark hair would go so bright so easily. I literally use this all the time now. I use usually 2 or 3 of these at a time as I cover my whole hair for a top up when I do my roots and I have lots of hair! I use 75ml of 30 volume creme developer to every tube of majicontrast that I use and this gets my hair from very dark brown to bright red in no time. I'll be honest the colour will still eventually start fading it won't stay as bright, it will go lighter and less red but you can help keep it redder by using a sulfate free shampoo and topping up the colour with something like fire red crazy colour semi-permanent dye or a la riche directions one. It doesn't damage your hair at all really, unlike if you were to bleach your hair and then apply a red (which I have done and it wasn't pretty!). Another great thing is that this colour won't stain the bathroom for ages like most other dyes, I find if I splodge this by accident I can easily clean it without leaving too much evidence. XXL colours are no where near as effective as this stuff so throw away the box dyes!

Very different shades on dyed hair vs un-dyed hair but worth it either way
I use this with L'oreal Oxydant cream 9% 30vol. I only dye the ends of my hair, not the whole head. When I used to use this on un-dyed brown hair it came out very bright red (which I loved). Now I have box-dyed brown hair and it comes out quite a deep red. In sunshine it's a really deep but vibrant blood red. Indoors or in artificial light it isn't very noticeable - you can tell that there is some colour there but it's not very obvious, it looks best when outdoors. I've found the colour lasts quite well, especially when you're using colour protection shampoo and conditioner. But as with any red dye it does of course fade over time. I've found the red lasts a lot longer on my dyed brown hair than it did on un-dyed hair (not sure why, perhaps just because it's darker so less noticeable?) I do recommend this either way though, it's a great colour.

Brilliant product. A couple tips for anyone new to this!
I've always used this since working in hairdressing, don't need to pre bleach, just use Creme peroxide, I suggest to anyone who has damaged hair to stain the ends rather than use the peroxide (may be difficult if your hair is dark to begin with however so may be worth trying to at least bleach bath it) When I redo my roots I use the creme peroxide then just mix some product with only water to stain the ends (how I had it done at the salon). I'm planning on going back to this as currently my hair is silver, but I'm not sure what I miss most, silver or red! From the photo I also had red and orange using the pure copper colour from this brand. Which again I also miss! The colour does fade but only really where my hair is damaged I just top it up with directions when I condion my hair.

Fab colour first time!
My hair was a dyed gingery brown colour (see before photo) with fairly heavy roots due to lockdown laziness but I fancied a change and if you can't be a bit daring now when can you be! I was nervous but took the plunge, mixing with 30vol developer. I'll mention here that this product isn't recommended for use directly on the scalp, but I know how I react to these colours and was happy to take the risk. I absolutely LOVE the result, its a bright vibrant red and even all the way through. I have a lot of hair so needed 1.5 tubes, so I have plenty left for a refresh when it starts to fade which all reds do fairly quickly. Highly recommend this product and think I've found my new signature colour!

Lush bright red hair dye
Love this hair dye, only reason I deducted a star was because there was no English instructions for how much developer to mix with it, luckily someone left the measurements in the comments, other than that, it has given me a very gorgeous bright red that I love

Bright red and easy to do at home
My hairdresser has been using this on me for ages and it makes my brownish hair bright red. I bought some to try myself at home as we are in lockdown and it was easy to use and I’ve got the same brilliant results. My hair is not pre- lightened but I used a 20% developer with it which came out perfect as my hairs not that dark. It is orange based so it will fade orange rather than pink which is what I like, but i only need it done every couple of months. I top up the ends with a semi in between as they been over processed over the years so do fade quicker.
