I bought it for my son 10ur birthday. He spends hours playing with this, already made two additional slides and is enjoying it. Best gift for science explorer kids

Got his for my sons Christmas after he used his friends.Yes it’s tricky but good light and great views Once you get your focus , also got extra slides he’s lovely it spend hours with it . Drawing what he see’s,It’s a beginner one but you get what you pay for.

Bought as a Christmas present , really well presented. Case keeps everything nice and neat together and easy to move around. My niece is 7 and loved it.

Do not buy this item. Poor quality and virtually nothing can be seen through this, totally not fit for purpose. To add insult to injury, despite believing I was purchasing from a UK buyer, I had to return it to Holland (with all parts) at a cost of £26.00. This was then returned as it contained batteries!! If I now try to return I will have spent more on postage than the cost of an absolutely useless microscope.

I bought two as Christmas gifts , one for each of my grandsons. Its a great product and reasonably priced. With that being said, one of the microscopes was defective. Amazon’s customer service was excellent and it was quickly replaced. The replacement was also defective and way passed the return date because the boys had gone home before the replacement arrived, so we didn’t open it until they came back for the summer. I called Amazon and since it was way past, they couldn’t do anything but the representative I spoke with was very helpful in giving me the info I needed to contact the company. I called, and the person I spoke with gave me the info I needed to contact the correct person. I emailed that person and got a response within 24 hrs telling me what info I had to send, including the invoice. I didn’t have that, so back to Amazon. This rep was also fantastic and she promptly sent me a copy . I immediately sent it off to the company. Within a couple of hours of emailing the invoice, I received an email saying they were shipping the replacement within 24 hrs. Two days later I received the replacement. Great customer service, quality product, and fun while being educational.

A plataforma de observação é fixa, só a ocular é móvel, o que pode dificultar o foco. Ainda não abri para colocar as pilhas mas, à primeira vista, não encontro um botão de ligar/desligar, o que me preocupa um pouco pois, se não o tiver, é provável que a luz fique sempre acesa - o que é um pouco disparatado. O bisturi é só para enfeitar pois não corta nada, assim como alguns dos acessórios são só para enfeitar. O que eu gostei é que o corpo é pesado, o que dá alguma estabilidade, as lentes parecem estar intactas e focam bem, a caixa é uma mais valia por torna o transporte e armazenamento mais fácil. Eu comprei uma caixa extra de lamelas com material para observar, para tornar a experiência mais interessante para a minha filha. Ela tem 7 anos e será um presente de natal, por isso ainda não vi a interacção dela com o microscópio, mas estou confiante que ficará feliz com o presente.The viewing platform is fixed, only the eyepiece is movable, which can make focusing difficult. What I liked is that the body is heavy, which gives some stability, the lenses seem to be intact and focus well, the box is a plus as it makes transport and storage easier. I bought an extra box of slides with material for observation, to make the experience more interesting for my daughter.
