I love these for punching holes in difficult spaces however the ring at the top very loose and falls down had to super glue to hold in place they cut the holes well and very sharp

My use case was I needed to bind a book using book binding screws, or using a traditional Japanese book binding method. This was hopefully going to make that whole process a lot quicker.It arrived, with everything advertised, so that's always a good start and when it came to using it, it worked as expected! The tip sizes are varied enough to suit numerous use cases and they are easily fitted into the Hole punch.Using the Hole punch is easy enough BUT the blades are not the sharpest and the shaft is not the smoothest so be weary that you will have to use some force behind it to do the job. I got it to do 3-4 pages at once but took more than one pump to do it, but it's a hell of lot faster than using an Awl.

It's very helpful to transfer all the dots from original patterns onto the one you've traced thenyou can just mark the dots through the whole onto your fabric. Like it a lot.

EDIT - I am editing my review because after a few uses I have found the dies just come out of the end when I punch holes so they aren't fixed securely. It's very frustrating as I have to keep stopping and putting them back. I will be looking for a different punch to buyI have used the punches you hit with a hammer and the punch tool that rotates for the size you want. I have issues with both of them. But this is AMAZING!!! I have arthritis and struggle to use most hand tools. But this is a dream. You literally just screw until it goes through the fabric. It can cut through very soft fabrics to very thick and hard fabrics. It cuts through multiple layers too. Great value for money

You don't need a hammer and neat and tidy

Works great for thick or thin paper. The punches are sharp and easy to switch between sizes. I bought it for crafting so it's great for my needs I also tried it on a leather belt and it was sharp enough to cut but I had to also line it up on the back side to punch all the way through as the leather was too thick. Not a huge deal for one hole but maybe if you were going to do a lot of leather work it might be an issue. But maybe thats normal, I don't have any real experience with leather.

Great to use and love that you don't have to keep twisting your wrist to cut the hole, applying pressure does this for you. Love the hand crafted look but a strong and sturdy tool. Will be using to make my own journal covers.
