What animal is the fat from in this powder? Our dog has a beef allergy and after having this added to his raw food he's come out in hives etc again.

As far as one can read on the list of components, the only ingredient derived from animals is powdered eggshell. Anything else listed is plant-based. Linseed is part of the concoction. My guess would be that the fat (6%) stems from the linseed. Hope, this helps.

Is this the only supplement I will need to add to a home cooked high fibre diet for my dog?

this is really to be used with a raw diet, but i suppose there is no reason why you should not add to cooked food. i also give my dog olive/coconut oil and a couple of raw eggs a week for added vitamins. i would suggest that you add a little less as you have said the diet will be high fibre.

i make my own raw feed got this but do i need to get the bone meal as well

Give your dog raw meaty bone ,this has eggshell in it .But dogs can’t digest or absorb so it’s not biologically appropriate.Only serves really as a possible stool firmer.But if you’re feedindig a raw meat diet stools should be naturally firmer less stinky and less off as there bodies naturally absorb all the nutrients from biologically available raw meat only .So there is less waste .feed raw chicken or turkey necks .chicken feet are particularly good for glucosamine.Just always keep in mind the size of your dog to the size of bone. The bone meal is not at all healthy for them often contaminated. Dogs need fresh raw bone the meal doesn’t contain what your dogs need .No fun for your dog either Raw bones are nature’s tooth brush also.
