IPEVO Ziggi-HD Plus USB Visualiser/ Document Camera

I had have 2 HP scanners. Both with auto feeders, one can do duplex scanning the other only single sided scanning. I wanted to scan some old accounts. The problem was lots of pages were tiny receipts or had staples. Many of the pages were dog-eared. Not really great for scanning.I bought this because I was getting tired of the documents jamming or miss-scanning. It works! Good resolution, very fast, auto focusing, good adjustment of colour etc. It is also much much faster than a flat bed scanner with auto feeder. Good software with twain support if you want it.Base is nice and weightyThe only downside is it takes a few moments to get the arm in the right place. I was able to scan a thick binder just by turning a page and touching the space bar (then repeating).

bang on! had used a version at my previous school. It does not need a light as surrounding light is enough. still not fitted it's anti glare shield which I have christened (for the kids) his sombrero. simply plug in and play. no need to find someone with the school administrator code to access the deeper, darker workings of the pc. it's compact and solid. and sits on my desk reminding me I should be using him as part of my teaching. Love him. And he's been named Gerry. as is Gerry the Giraffe.I teach 11-16. they get my humour.

Works well & easy to use, the only prblem, as others have found, is that it would be good if it would be a few inches higher. However, although slightly inconvenient, putting it on a book works fine. I guess this is a result of portability compromising ease of use.

It's a useful tool and I'm glad that I have it, but, my god does it lag! It's so slow!

I've been using this camera for online tutoring lessons and I am a huge fan of its ease, quality and overall design. The IPEVO software is straightforward and using the camera online is just as simple as plugging it in. I've encountered no issues so far and the quality of text, documents and images is unbeatable

I am a teacher for the year 4 to year 8 age group and this product is excellent. I down loaded the software in seconds and was using it the camera in class very quickly. The vision and focus is ideal. Very pleased for the small amount I paid.

Unfortunately it did not work on my computers. When I first installed the software from the website it immediately took 2 images and kept on flashing back and forth. I couldn't get it to stop and so unplugged the UBS from the computer and restarted the software. This then worked. I was able to get the camera to work. However the next day nothing. Firstly the software failed to load again, then when I reinstalled it the camera failed to work. No white light would turn on. I reinstalled the software and used the other ports as advised by IPEV (when I contacted them via the internet) still nothing. They also suggested using a different computer which I did still the camera failed to work.Returned the camera quick and easy to return.

Really live this, would recommend ordering the Height Extension Stand with it to get extra height when capturing larger items. I can confirm that it works really well on Linux Mint 18.1 using the IPEVO Publisher Chrome app.
