Adapter not a voltage converter
Just what I required, worked perfectly in UK as an adapter for US plugs. This item is is only an adapter not a voltage converter.

Waste
Did not work at all. Completely defective. Plugged in my US power cable so I could use my laptop and it's a complete dud. I had no reason to doubt it was effective and now the return window is closed....

Not a tight fit. 2 prong conectors without ground WILL slip out very easily.
It gets the job done as an adapter, however two prong connectors will very easily fall off. If you're only going to plug in full US 3 prong connector you'll be fine.I had purchased adapters similar to these and they don't have this same problem, so it is this cheap variation. But it gets the job done.
