Pentel Arts Pocket Brush Pen, Includes 2 Black Ink Refills (GFKP3BPA)

Brilliant. I love it. A little hard to use for precise lines but you can get very thin and thick lines. Great flow. I've tried a few different ones and that's the best in this category. Great size too. Gives a bit of a caricature look to drawings.

This pen is recommended by Martin Lochmair, and artist off YouTube. Seemed like a good thing to purchase. It works OK with the refil in place and you hold it vertically, but take some time for the ink to get to the tip of the bristles. We will see how long it lasts before I need to change the refil and then, where do I get refils from is the next question. I've not researched that yet nor how much they cost. So far, I am pleased and will use it on my next artwork involving pen and ink.

I bought this after seeing a youtube demo of the pen [...] and I am pleased to say it is just as good as I had hoped, although I choose to share the artists video rather than my own because, well, we don;t want to see that rubbish! It has helped me branch out as an artist though and explore methods and techniques I otherwise thought I could not achieve with copic markers or watercolours etc.

I believe this is a unique drawing implement somewhere between a pen and a brush. Looks good but I have yet to use it.

This version of my favourite brush pen for art feels expensive and special, which is an extra bonus!

Should have stayed with my trusty Pigma brush. Thought I’d give the Pentel Pocket Brush a try, mistake! I’m not sure what India Ink they use but it seems to bleed through the thickest of papers with only one pass of the brush. The brush itself I don’t find ideal either. Very flimsy, possibly good for calligraphists which I’m not. Plus side you can fill the cartridges with your own fave brand of India ink, but I’ve been refilling my throw away Sakura Pigma brush for a couple of years now and it’s as good as the day I bought it, well nearly. Three stars for being comfortable to hold.

Sencillo, fácil de cambiar, robusto, sencillo de transportar, este es "esa" pluma que necesitas si te gusta tanto bocetar, como rellenar o como hacer cualquier cosa con tinta. Le puedes meter mil meneos, hacer cualquier trazo loco, meter su punta en agua y ver como la tinta se va por todos lados, no te fallará. Es duro como fémur de elefante. Hazme caso, llevo con esta pluma años y todavía no se ha deformado el pincel.

Beautiful pen! Has a nice weight to it, easy to put the cartridge in, doesnt leak, writes smoothly and after giving the ink a moment to fill the brush it was ready to go! It was perfect for the price!
