Brass connectors don't snap in half, unlike plastic ones
It arrived a day earlier than expected, which was handy. It was to replace a plastic one which had developed a drop. My inexperience in working with my head and shoulders wedged in a cupboard meant re-attaching it to the other Y-connecter was too tricky, so I tried to remove that to make life easier. It was plastic, and snapped in half. I replaced that with a brass one, like this one, sourced locally, and everything went smoothly after that. Now, not a drip in sight. Brass is better, both physically and in the integrity of the threads. I did use PTFE tape on the threads, but that's standard procedure and might not have been necessary; however, I prefer to play safe.

Works a treat!
Bought to replace the plastic 1 i had fitted 12 months ago when we moved in. Arrived well before expected despite being standard delivery. Easy to install, if you dont count removing the sink waste pipe infront of its location. Nice & smooth treads, meant i, & my arthritic hands, was able to fit it even without the adjustable spanner i ordered, & still waiting on, to do the job. Will it last longer than the 12 months of the old plastic one? - i think & hope so. :)

Good Quality Fitting
Got this to split the hoses in the garden as a replacement for plastic ones that seem to fail quite quickly as result of UV damage and frosts. No complaints with this. Works wth plastic fittings and does not leak. Should last a long time. Perhaps a bit pricey for what it is.

Decent quality and screwed on perfectly
Needed this to connect a dishwasher and washing machine to same cold feed. It feels sturdy and a decent quality, and it screwed on to the cold tap feed without a hitch. Both appliance hoses screwed onto it perfectly and both appliances work perfectly. Definitely recommend going for brass metal over plastic

The perfect tool for the job
The perfect tool for the job. We recently purchased a dishwasher and need to connect it to the water supply but our washing machine was already using that connection. This solved the issue perfectly and easily. It's a good solid brass connector and will screw onto your fitting with ease, there is a little bit of movement on the joint to help when you are attaching your kitchen appliances. No leakage whatsoever! I ws looking at alternatives and all my local stores only sold plastic versions of this and all had bad reviews with water leaking so for a couple of extra pound this was well worth the investment! Don't use plastic. Buy this
This item is so much better than the cheap plastic ones and only these should be used to split a supply as the plastic don't connect well together with washer/ dishwasher hoses and start to leak. If your debating about it over a plastic 1 do it and save your money and time

Does the job
Had a leak after using it. I fixed the leak with Teflon tape..it might not leak for everyone but did with me. Apart from the leak, easy to use and does the job.
