CHAUVET DJ IRC6 Infrared Remote Control 6

Misplaced one i bought earlier in the year, very handy to have when you have set up your lights and the panel is out of reach.Supplied with a battery and they are all pretty much the same price online, came in a sealed bag with the seal in place to stop the battery being used before you get to it.All in great condition and hopefully i can find my original one, if not this will be my regular go to remote.

Does what it does

Bit of a faff to find the right angle sometimes as it's not consistent but does the job and useful to change programmes when just using one chauvet effect.

For smaller gigs I didn't want to be messing around with DMX so this handy little remote was just the trick.Mount lights on stand, turn them on and then fully control them with the remote.Only con is the writing on the buttons is so small and hard to see in low light conditions.

Previous order failed to arrive, lost in post from UK seller, now out of stock..refunded no problem. Re ordered and arrived within a week...from Germany. Neat tiny hand control 4 x 2 inches, light and thin as a beer mat..hence disc battery (supplied & fitted) just need to remove protective film. Colour coded press pads make easy recognition & operation, though I struggle to see words on the black pads, but will become familiar with use.I found battery tray awkward only because of overall size which is nice, fits top pocket?. Havn't checked its reported range, always near master light and it works great, change ops instant, gives a lot of control for a good show. There is no memory function but this is a next best thing to avoid the world of DMX. Note : I use this for the Colorail IRC lights, which are DMX cable linked so signal received by master unit, without & albeit set to IRC, not sure if all lights would action, allowing for obstacles etc.So far Im so please this suits my present needs.

Came swiftly and immediately worked without having to configure it to our lights.Downside, the exact same one we bought previously did break suspiciously easily
