Happy Pet Shred It Bird Refill

Fantastic durable and quite a space saver. I bought this for my African Grey. He loves to tear shreds off it and chew them. For such a simple idea, it has managed to do its job which was to eliminate boredom and occupy his destructive nature. Both of which seem to be achieved.The tot it's self appears to be a strong acrylic plastic which smoothly unscrews to allow the ream of paper to be placed inside (already in place when purchased) refills are a cheap price thus making this toy a good option. The paper reams last for a long time.Other users stated a spring came loose? I throughly checked the product to ensure nothing would happen to my bird and there was no spring. So maybe the toy has been redesigned. The chain is thick and substantial. However the clip was not able to open wide enough to fit over the bars of my cage, which wasn't a big issue as I just used one of the clips already available.Overall a good product 4 * due to the clip.

My Amazon parrots love this toy it’s well made the string is made out of paper so you can restring it back together when it breaks what it is a good toy and it’s organic.I like the fact that the string is paper so you pet parrot can’t strangle them selves while playing.

Fantastic quality item, delivered well ahead of schedule! Bought to entertain my Gambian Pouched Rat Merlin - who is thoroughly enjoying tearing off strips of paper to take down to his nest! Excellennt value and provides hours of fun for a determined Pouchie!

Product seems great, even though my Cockatiel isn't big into it, I think he will get good use out of it eventually. Size in the description says it 3x3x3cm. seems to be more like double the size of that though! Seems fine though and I have a big cage. Think it just scared him at first!Also came with a bit of a crack in the casing but it's fine.

She hasn't paid much attention to this since we got it.. Occasionally she will have a token nibble on the paper as she passes but would much rather shred up the newspaper on the bottom of her cage! I would recommend just giving your parrot a bit of newspaper to play with before splashing out on this, as she has so much more fun with it :)EDIT:after my intial review, i have tried moving the shred it around her cage. Suddenoy I've hit on a spot where she can't get enough - so have changed my star rating to reflect this :) great toy!

its a little expensive but its good.

I’ve bought this for over a year for my rabbit. Came back to get another refill but instead of the usual three quid, now it’s nearly the price of the whole new full price item. So either I stop buying it altogether or just buy a whole new toy each time 🤦🏼‍♀️ Ridiculous price for a roll of tiny paper.
