You need pliers to make the tree stand stay up and hold the tree safely , after you secure it with the pliers it’s perfect

Not suitable for trees over 5-6ft
It says in the description this stand is good for trees up to 7.5ft. Our tree is a Slim, 7.5 ft. And our new tree was very unstable & wobbly. Felt unsafe with pets & kids in the home.
