The thumb hole keeps the gloves in place. Better quality gloves than normal dress up quality. They served me well for the Rocky Horror Show. The gloves fit well and are comfortable.

OK, these are nice gloves, not sure how they are going to protect me from the sun, but will wait and see when the sun comes out! My issue with these are one of packaging and waste! These are small enough to have fitted in an a5 enveloped, but came in a box over a foot wide by 6 inches tall, stuffed with packaging paper!

Well made good fit. I have very small hands and wrists though so not sure how well someone with bigger arms would get on. There is a fair amount of give in the glove .. but the elastic at the top of my arm is snug. Perfect for me.

Did the job

The description said the gloves were as "image show" however this was not the case. The image clearly shows the thumb has a separate hole but the ones I received did not; they were just a tube of black lace. This meant they were not fit for purpose because if I wore the gloves to my knuckles as intended, my thumb was trapped inside the tube. The only alternative would be to wear the gloves to my wrist, which defeats the whole purpose of fingerless gloves! I intend to return these as they are not as described.
